Adrian Mitchell
Can a fully vaccinated person who contracted covid 1 month prior to a sailing, use a medical recovery form and not be tested? SpeedNoodles
Not at this time, but be sure to do an antigen test rather than PCR. PCR is what will pick up fragments of the virus months later - antigen only detects active infections.

I can fly into the US without testing as I have lab results showing I was positive and a Doc note, but RC won’t accept that from what I’ve been reading - silly! My son was positive and I didn’t get a PCR, so I got worried he might test Positive coming home as we need PCR in Canada. So paid to have a test done (1 month after infection) and it was Neg. Phew! Antigen all the way for boarding!
smokeybandit
Under the new CSO, you can use 90 day proof of recovery to make you exempt from having to test or quarantine on board ship if you've been identified as a close contact. But it won't help you to get on the ship in the first place. Brilliant.

Just for the future, I've had much better luck getting responses from Royal Caribbean when I direct message them on Facebook or Twitter. I know not everyone uses these platforms, but if you do, give that a try next time. Jen W and Kathleen 1
