tomp
We are booked for a 12-night cruise leaving 1/8/22. We are scheduled to visit five ports starting at day four. Each port has a 2 to 5-day minimum testing requirement, mostly PCR. Does a negative test prior to embarkation meet port requirements or do additional tests need to be taken onboard the ship? I emailed RCI and got no specific response.

You should check the Healthy Sail Center on Royal’s site, linked below. You should also ask your travel agent or call Royal if not using an agent. If you’re not using an agent, I’d highly recommend using one in the future. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/the-healthy-sail-center
twangster
Welcome to the message boards. Most destinations have rules for travel by airplane for travelers that fly in for their vacations. Be careful not to confuse the rules for fly in visitors with the rules for cruise ship guests. Allen2
tomp
Thank you for your responses. I did review the Healthy Sail Center pages several times and also emailed RCI. No clear answer. I have also visited each port of call's website today, and nothing gives a clear answer to my question either. I will try my travel agent friend in FL. Kathleen
You might reach out to Royal Caribbean on Twitter and send them your questions. I find them to be very responsive.
DevonFromAcme
Let me guess— the Enchantment out of Baltimore? You’re fine. None of those ports require a separate Covid test prior to debarkation foe the day.
