jticarruthers Posted April 9, 2014 Report Posted April 9, 2014 They usually do a pretty good job of televising major sporting events while on board. March Madness (NCAA Basketball) was televised on Allure 2 weeks ago and NFL games have always been televised on Thanksgiving. Don't know for sure though. Quote
MICHELLE Posted April 9, 2014 Report Posted April 9, 2014 they will try and do that if they can yes Quote
Sandya Posted April 10, 2014 Author Report Posted April 10, 2014 Ok, feeling better with your respond... Maybe I should call RCI and ask them. Thanks! Quote
Bryce G. Posted April 10, 2014 Report Posted April 10, 2014 Ok, feeling better with your respond... Maybe I should call RCI and ask them. Thanks! When you get on the ship, I would suggest that you talk to the Cruise Director or Guest Services. And ask if they can have it on in the schooner bar (or similar pub) or on any other screens throughout the ship. No reason they shouldn't be able to accommodate. Quote
Matt Posted April 10, 2014 Report Posted April 10, 2014 When I went on Navigator of the Seas in February they were televising the winter olympics. So as others have said, they will try to. Quote
Sandya Posted April 10, 2014 Author Report Posted April 10, 2014 Yay!!! Thanks guys, I knew you always have answers for me that makes me happy!!! Quote
Dirk Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 when I was on board of the Mariner back in 2012 they were televising the CL-Final between Chelsea and Munich, so I think you will have a good chance to see some great soccer games! Matt 1 Quote

DAVE(Darkcabbie) Posted May 19, 2014 Report Posted May 19, 2014 Great news indeed. They usually do a good job of showing major sporting events onboard. I agree, while on the Independence last October they showed most of the top UK Soccer games on the jumbo screen by the pool and they even had a channel on the monitors attached to the equipment in the Gym showing the games.
