SKB Posted August 8, 2021 Report Share Posted August 8, 2021 We are cruising on Serenade in September and I cannot find any float plane excursions. Any ideas? Due to the short season and lower numbers of expected tourists, the operators did not spin up operations like a regular year. Offerings are very limited this year. Donna G Posted August 9, 2021 Report Share Posted August 9, 2021 My husband was a Coast Guard search and rescue pilot for 20 years and saw too many helicopter and small plane accidents so we don't do those. When we were in Ketchikan we just rented a car and drove ourselves to the bear viewing area, this way we could stay as long as we wanted. Then we went to the other end of town for the totem park.
