Tracelet/Wristbands used on Quantum

I remember Royal was using contact tracing wristbands during the Quantum of the Seas sailings in Singapore. 

There hasn't been any indication that they will be using these wristbands on the US sailings or Nassau sailings. Why are they using it on Quantum but not anywhere else?

I saw in one interview that with all the cameras on the ship they can do contact tracing via video footage... scary and cool at the same time.

more than likely if is using Face Recognition software in concert with the video feeds

Yes, I forgot to include facial recognition in my post.

If my memory serves me correctly (and there's a significant chance it does not), the tracelets were a requirement of the government in Singapore.

I am with @SpeedNoodles I believe that was a condition of the Singaporean govt., especially since the sailings were all unvaccinated at the time they began.
