Yet a "competitor" is offering very real options: Viking cruises is offering 100% credit on future cruises within 24 months on (almost) any cancellation. That is very reassuring, and maybe Royal should be considering the same, even though it might be hit to earnings. Quote

That's not reassurance, that's an act of minor desperation to keep people from wholesale leaving. Also, Viking almost entirely operates in Europe, so they have more of their eggs in one basket than Royal Caribbean does. No doubt, it's a nice gesture by Viking, but Viking and RC are not in the same market, nor do they have similar customer demographics. Baked Alaska and KenCP 2 Quote
