dejagatkins
I just got an alert about the Zika Virus from RC and referring me to their web site concerning my very close cruise start date. Then it says reply Yes. Does that mean if I reply yes, they will reschedule my cruise or does yes mean I read the alert? I certainly don't want to reschedule. Todd
You are not required to answer a text message set to you and I would not do so. Yes Royal can asked but you absolutely get no benefit from answering the question. My answer is based just upon the cruise contract, that said if you believe you have been exposed Zika Virus you should consult with your own doctor. You will be required to fill out a short medical form at or near boarding but it is not by text. dejagatkins
DocLC
As Todd states, you're not required to reply. However, if you don't, you'll likely receive the message again. dejagatkins
PRC
Agreed. You will check a box and sign a paper at the pier. I would do nothing before that. They did this a few years ago with the H1N1 scare in Mexico (Swine Flu aka the "Bacon Bug"). dejagatkins
dejagatkins
Thanks everyone. So it's just a disclaimer kind of warning. I will ignore all, and sign at the pier. I've already packed my deet!
