Opening balcony dividers on adjoining rooms

I read Matt's blog post from December 2014 but thinking things may have changed and hoping to learn before we embark.

We have 2 upcoming cruises with balcony rooms next to each other.

We're on Brilliance (Radiance Class) with 2 rooms on 12/28 and Anthem (Quantum Class)with 3 rooms in July. Can the dividers be opened on these ships?

If they can - is it just a matter of asking the cabin steward? Can we make arrangements ahead of time?

They cannot be opened up on the Radiance class.  We tried this past summer on our Alaska cruise.

Oh well! We have adjoining rooms with a door in between so we can share bathrooms. Would have been nice to share the balcony

My daughter and her family were on the Allure this past April in two connecting rooms. Kids in one and parents in the other. The cabin attendant opened the balcony divider for them. ope this helps. :27_sunglasses:

Thanks! Hopefully we can open up the balconies on Anthem....

Yes, the cabin steward can open the dividers on the Anthem.

We were on the Feb 2016 hurricane cruise, it worked great for going between cabins until the 150 mph winds hit and the ship started listing!  LOL

Great news! Thanks!!
