If you're booking through website, the option for refundable is on the last page of the checkout.

    Thank you!

I must admit that I never went that far in my mock booking "price checking" search since I always use a TA

I think you just found the answer to my question 🙂

But it's sad they don't offer that choice at the very beginning of the search.

  2. Hello to all

Please pardon me if this topic has been discussed before...

It seems that we only have the NRD cruise fare on the Canadian site now. And it's by default, we can't even choose 😪

We used to have a box to check ✔ just before we choose the cabin category. How about you our American friend?

Must admit it causes me a bit of a problem last month has I tried to reprice my November Oasis cruise. I work with a TA in my hometown and there was a few hundred dollars difference between RC on the phone and what I had on the website.

Not to cause any confusion, my original booking was a refundable deposit.

    Thanks for your reply

  3. I'm having trouble accessing the cruise planer page. Actually, I can't get there at all. After I login into My Cruise, I try to access the cruise planner page i get this message:

    Error

We're sorry, but we are unable to retrieve your booking information at this time. For assistance, please call 866-562-7625

So I called them but there not really helping. Was told that "there working on that issue" ?!? As far as I'm concerned, they have been working on it for at least a month.

I know I'm not the only one, facebook is full of other people who can't access that page. Any idea ?

    Thanks in advance

  4. Am I missing anything?????? Is there anything that I may have overlooked??????

I appreciate all the help you all have given me during my planning period, I learned so much from this forum and I loved reading the blog! I plan on posting and sharing about my experience with you since this is my very first RCCL cruise but, I think it will only be the first of many!!!

I love reading that kind of post ! Remind me of myself on early january 2016 when I was 4 days away from my cruise on the Allure.

I to would like to thank the administrators of this blog (and the rest of the members)  for helping us newbie, plan what would become a vacation of a lifetime !

  5. No..you can book on MANY different sites....each may offer better pricing or perks.

I learned that the hard way..after MANY cruises with RCI and paying full price on their own site with little or no OBC, and then talking to ppl who paid way less and had more perks I caught on. Haven't booked with them since. The final straw was no longer giving us 24hrs to hold something while I tried to make arrangements with work and flights etc before committing to the cruise. Once they did away with that , there was NO advantage left in my mind to booking with them.

I would love to take a look at those sites, any recommandation ?

  6. Book ahead, you can always change your mind later on the ship.

If you have a reservation, you will be allowed in the (Theater, studio B, Aqua Theater) 45 to 60 before showtime. There are no actual seat reservation, you just show up and take wathever is available.

People with no reservation will wait in line outside the room until 15 min prior to the show. It reduce your chance to be seated all together.
