  1. Not all junior suites in sky class get Internet on Quantum or Oasis class.
  2. We have always sailed in a suite but we turn up and board between 10:30 and 11:00am with no issues.
  3. My favourite so far is freedom class but we are on Harmony in September so is subject to change.
  4. Harr Travel cruise news is saying that Anthem is likely to go to to the West Coast in 25/26 and Allure is likely to sail from Florida or Galveston after the amplification.
  5. I think C&A members are meant to get this but in reality, I think it means Royal sends an email saying you can book on the website but so can any person who visits the website on that day.
  6. I don’t think we will see an Oasis class ship in the foreseeable future due to the number of tender ports which severely limit where it could go.
  7. Royal ships do not sail under the harbour bridge as there is not enough clearance underneath. There is another pier on the other side but it is limited to a few vessels which is why there is such a premium on Circular Quay port bookings.
  8. Oh I didn't realise that, as previously they have always been available on 3-night cruises here.
  9. Compare it to the price of the 3-night dining package and if it is cheaper then go for it otherwise just get the 3-night package. Normally here in Aus/NZ cruises do not have port stops so we do have the ability to use for lunch as well, but I don't want to get to the stage where we have lunch in the specialties just to get value from the package.
  10. We are on Quantum in a couple of weeks for a 7-night cruise. On this cruise the UDP is $627NZD (roughly $380 USD) per person. Ballpark based on this would be $89 NZD per day X 21 days = $1869 NZD ($1142 USD pp) For a longer voyage I would expect it to be slightly cheaper but there are only limited specialty restaurants on Quantum with unchanging menus. I personally don't believe this would be good value for money.
  11. I have never seen this in any Owners Suite I have been it and I don't recall seeing it in the Royal Suite either even though it had a basin.
  12. Yes, we have sailed on Voyager from Sydney in 2015 and 2020. Explorer has also been here before as well.
  13. I don't think this will be anytime soon as most of the islands are tendered and I don't believe Oasis class is designed for tendering sue to their size so itineraries would be extremely limited.
  14. This seems to be common across the cruise lines at the moment, but you will get a nice email full of platitudes about how important your cruise holiday is to them. We have to wait until April to see the Australia 2025/26 itineraries and even longer if we want to cruise Asia. Some cruise lines already have these available so why do we have to wait so long as they must already be planned with the ports booked.
  15. Your genie will also provide an abundance of drink (20-30 cans for coke for example) in your cabin so you will have plenty to share and they will also replenish it daily so you never run out.
  16. And I understand the pool is smaller too with less margin for error.
  17. The bids are per person so if you bid $500 and win you would pay an extra $1000 on top of the original fare. 3&4 people in the cabin do not pay extra, it is only applicable to the first 2 people in a cabin.
  18. So, does that imply that is either staying in Australia or heading off to Asia?
  19. We have heard from Hailey, who was our genie last year and we have her for our upcoming sailing. So pleased to have her back again for this sailing. Roll on March 1st.
  20. Having to fly from New Zealand we prefer cruising from Brisbane because Quantum is cheaper than Sydney. It allows us to purchase star class cabins at a reasonable price. I guess when Royal releases their next set of deployments in February it will become clearer as to which ships are left for Australia and Asia market.
  21. As I understand it you cannot use diamond vouchers there either but if there is enough feedback in the surveys, they may change the policy.
  22. Hi, there is no pictures attached to your post so I have just posted general information. Luggage tags will be part of the pre-cruise documents you will get sent a few weeks before your cruise. You can buy luggage tag holders on Amazon to put them in and affix to your bags or you can just staple the ones you print directly around your luggage handles.
  23. Chris has started uploading his startup series of videos. Very well done and definitely worth a watch.
  24. I was watching Danny from Harr Travel who is sailing in the Royal Loft Suite on this cruise and he mentioned the ship is sailing at 80% capacity.
  25. They didn’t for me. They just switched wine for mocktails instead. I believe it is possible to get a reduced price but you have to book onboard rather than through the cruise planner though It might be possible to change it prior to cruising by contacting Royal directly or through a travel agent. On another occasion when we sailed Star Class Chefs Table was included (with an up-charge for Alcohol) but because I don’t drink they did not up-charge me so there was nothing additional to pay.
