  1. Probably. The guy just looked out of place standing right next to the elevator.
  2. OMG...I just had one of those on Monday! I will be bankrupt soon if that happens more than once a week. ?
  3. Sorry, need a pic because I can't even picture what it really looks like right now. It has been a really long work week!
  4. It would be a good idea to make reservations ahead of time. If not, then like any land restaurant, there might be a bit of a wait.
  5. When you get to the terminal, you should be good to go to the suites line. Where on your set sail pass would that be indicated anyway? I cannot remember if it is ever indicated. It has been too long in dry dock for me ?
  6. I don't think he will be there either....sad news. Well if I get Tim Connor on Indy on December 29 that will make up for it. And there's still Harmony in March that is question mark...I thought Marc would come back but it sounds like he wants to stay on Liberty...
  7. Yes, most definitely. When you get to there just ask for a table for 2. We have never had a problem.
  8. They had the take out stand on Mariner in August. I don't have photo evidence but we saw it a few times in various places on the Promenade. Once they were even set up near the Deck 5 elevators, which I found odd.
  9. The birthday cruise was just announced this past week. So maybe they will promote it more as time goes on?
  10. Mariner's dress code is fairly casual in the MDR. There is no "formal night". It's "Wear Your Best" and attire ranged from shorts/tanks to shirt/tie. I did not see any suits.
  11. That is exactly their intention. If your best is shorts/tank, then that's what you can wear. On Mariner, there was no "formal night". We saw a variety of things in the MDR on Wear Your Best night, everything from shorts/tank/flip flops to fancier dresses, shirts and ties.
  12. FYI...got some money back on the Anthem GC booking. If you booked it, check your prices or YOLO and book it!
  13. Is that some crazy onesie? Romper? lol Anyway, I think time will tell. It will be interesting to see what happens when Indy makes its way back to the US. She's doing 4/5 night sailings and if we start seeing "Wear Your Best" on that too, then they might be changing something. I have to admit though, it was nice to not have to pack dress shoes etc.
  14. You're not wrong. Since the start of the year, grats have been $14.50/day for JS and below and $17.50/day for GS and above.
  15. Last night on Periscope that came up and I suggested to @Matt that we should do a 2020 GC on Quantum 5 since it is rumoured that she will sail from NY/NJ area. However, I'm not sure how long they will keep Quantum 5 in Europe with Anthem also headed over there.
  16. This would not be the RC Blog message boards that I know and love if it didn't!
  17. This has been a conversation Hubby and I have had over the last few years. I don't know if I would do the Med on Oasis class. When I cruise OA class, I just want to be on the ship. That is our destination. I would be really torn if I sailed the Med on OA class because how can you go to Europe and not see all the ports? In the end, when we go back to Europe, it will likely be on a smaller ship. Less expensive for suites lol. We have done a 12 night Med on Brilliance before. Loved that. That ranks as of my top cruises ever. The Star class one on Harmony in March might change that but that will still be one of favourite vacations ever. The timing was a perfect mix of port/sea days. We did not feel guilty not spending enough time on the ship as Brilliance was much smaller. And we were never bored on board because we were off the ship a whole lot.
  18. FWIW, if I had to choose one, I would do Med over Alaska. But try to find a Med sailing that goes for more than 7 nights. 7 nights is very rushed. Any Med itinerary is so port intensive that it is nice to have a few sea days in between.
  19. What?! Coming from you, that must mean something has changed for the better with that pizza! ? oh...and we've circled back to pizza again...totally unrelated to original post lol
  20. Lately it's been out of New Jersey...maybe Baltimore (I can't be certain on that one). @Matt, might I direct your attention to the poll above? Confidence? ?
