Yes, super strange location

We have had good service in all Playmakers except Odyssey. No one was even around to take an order. Then it took forever for the order to come out. Then all service disappeared completely when we asked for the bill. That was the first, and only restaurant we walked out on without signing. We figured they already knew our room number so let them sort it out.

I did too a few times. The last time was in the early 2000s and we sat for 4 hours on the runway, in the summer heat, because no one wanted to give Spirit a gate. That was the last straw for me.

I have been having a similar problem the last few days trying to add UDP to my cart. Called Royal yesterday and after they were also unable to add, they started a ticket for it. The rep told me it would take about 24hrs to get resolved. 24 hrs later still not resolved so I just called the back. They reviewed the ticket and now claiming it could take up to a month to resolve since my sailing is “far away”, it’s in August 2025. The weird thing is that I can add everything to my cart, except the UDP, which is what I want. So annoying.

I finally have a Bezos recommendation for you! I use bar soap all the time because most soaps dry my skin out. There is a local soap company that I buy from and they make bar soap only. I have been using these for years. I even take one with me when I travel. They have bamboo and plastic versions of this too but I like metal. When won both RUB our luggage tags did update. And yes, as @WAAAYTOOO has long said, do not give your bags to a regular porter. Well, you could, but then they won't be expedited. Going to tag @Jax because I know she has sailed twice from Galveston.

Maybe it's just your sailing lol. In all the ones we've done, handshakes are not that common. Upon initial meeting at the terminal, yes. Beyond that, we get verbal greetings, like a, "Hello, how is everything going?" or a "nod" and a smile.

Depends…I like 1722 for the privacy. Some like 1724 so they can watch the wave and people in general. 1724 has the bigger lower level and not much space upstairs. 1722 has a slightly smaller lower level and more space upstairs. Oh no! As we were texting last night that was on the back of my mind, that you don't want to get sick from all those handshakes. Stay hydrated. Lots of water. @WAAAYTOOO and @InmyElement, re: furniture and storage space in the cabins...I have long said that for a ship that puts high emphasis of family cruising, big thumbs down for them in this category. From the insides, all the way to the suites. Total lack of storage compared to the older ships (especially if you have more than 2 people), and yes, IMO, the cabinetry does look a bit "cheap", sort of like IKEA, even in the upper suites. Our next two bookings on this class it's just Hubby and I. I still have not logistically found a way to bring both girls without paying an amount that is not worth it.
