  1. so which staterooms would people pick Deck 7 7288, 7290 & 7291 OR Deck 9 9692, 9694 & 9697
  2. Thanks for the feedback everyone, Oh, I just don't know which staterooms to pick.
  3. Need response fairly quickly So question for everyone! We currently have three staterooms on deck 9 (9692,9694 and 9697(kids interior) We can move to deck seven mid ship in (7288,7290 & 7291(kids prom) We have no problem where we are located on the ship but my father in laws has in his head deck 9 might have more motion. Also, it's a E3 vs D2 but does that really matter for only two people in the stateroom.
  4. They can't hold a sales event, it would hurt the bottom line and shareholders!!! LOL And with the Liberty situation (let's keep everyone in out thoughts from Texas) they need to figure out how to recoup from it. I will say though, they have shown very good will in this terrible situation.
  5. For some that is easier said then done.
  6. I still believe that RCCL has all the power in the world to monitor this package on the ships. They have the technology but chooses not to use it, it's easier for them to force this stupid rule on everyone in the cabin. And no matter which way this is spun, or why the second person in the cabin doesn't want to purchase the package, it should be their right. Also, why are the offering a meeting place for recovering alcoholics (which I am not 100% if that is what Friends' of Bill is) and requiring everyone in a stateroom to purchase a drink package, that contradicts itself!
  7. Talked with C&A Desk and they are not sure if and when the roll out will be fleet wide!
  8. Maybe RCCL will come up with a better idea!
  9. NS8VN thanks for doing the research on other cruise line policies. ellcee, your last two sentence was what I was trying to get across. Makes no sense, Oh Well
  10. Thanks for all those suggestions! They make a lot of sense!
  11. And trust me on the legal thing, In today's world, some people(thank god only been in court for a job related issues) live on these type of issues.
  12. So explain to those on this blog who don't drink and want to go with a friend who does, what should they do?
  13. In my opinion it's arrogant, irresponsible and concerning that ANY cruise line would not recognize if a person does not drink alcohol or maybe a recovering one, force them to buy an alcohol package. It blows my mind that they can not find a reasonable solution to this matter. Oh wait, they don't care!
  14. I am surprised that this is a legal thing any cruise line can do! Let's say for whatever belief you do not drink alcohol and the person you are sailing with does not share that belief, how can they force that person to buy something they don't believe in. I know passengers have found ways to abuse the system INCLUDING bar tenders on the ship. They are scanning your sea pass card for every drink which shows your picture on the screen and I'm sure a time stamp is also associated with ordering a drink. Let's put some responsibility back on RCCL! I would love to see how this would pan out in the court of law.
  15. Also just had an interesting (but not surprised) conversation with the Crown and Anchor desk, thinking they could shed some light on this question. NOPE!
  16. Good Morning, So I was wondering if I could get some insight to this question. So I logged into my C&A account went to "special offers", "exclusive rates", "see cruises" and a three night cruise on the Majesty for sailing date 12/14/2018 is showing $189 for interior. Then I went to rccl.com as a Joe schmo and the same rate was available. Am I missing a step to get the "Special Rate" ? One would think after you sign in that the system would recognize you are C&A and populate the special rate. Another question, this is the system that took over the pamphlet you would get in the mail for C&A showing the "special rates" right?
  17. Have been on a Thanksgiving cruise for the past six years and they start decorating the day after Thanksgiving!
  18. I think it's a win win for the consumer and RCCL. The consumer can experience on an shorter cruise a larger ship with some of the bells and whistles the larger ships have, an RCCL can pull more people into longer cruising.
  19. Just had the chance to read some comments on cruisecritic.com and MANY unhappy people
  20. So as I was on RCCL.com looking under, "The Experience" then "our ships" then choosing "Mariner of the Seas" watch the little video. It is interesting they are showing a flow rider on the second to last clip? Do you think this was just a mistake or do you think they will be adding it? I hope so!
  21. Yes, not for long though. Watch, this pilot program that was just announced on the Majesty is just the beginning of another perk being modified, just my opinion!
