I got my ode to the cookies email this morning.  Good riddance.  Those things were awful.  I would much prefer fresh cookies to those packaged things.  I hope they replace that dumb trail mix too !

Trail mix? How many cruises do I need to book to get trail mix?

I read this morning that Carnival's Liberty is dead in the water in Galveston due to engine problems. Is this causing any hold ups with embarcation on Royal Caribbean ships? There are only 3 slips, and at least 5 ships cruising there...

I don't see a bogo offering for my Liberty cruise on 12/26/16. When I last conversed with customer service, they said they had sold out those offerings. I don't know if the bogo deal falls in the same category as the 30% off deal... We already have Chops, Giovanni's, and Sabor booked, along with Chef's Table... It would be nice to add one more dining option at no additional charge...

Hmmm! Perhaps another upgrade opportunity will present itself??????

I'm in! For me, it's the Navigator. But probably after Christmas -- All my funds are going to my Liberty cruise right now! Live like a pauper now, cruise like a king!

We sailed over the New Year Holiday 2014 and had a wonderful experience. My sister is a high school teacher which hasoccasionally made it necessary to travel on holidays. The party for the new year was fantasic, fire works at sea. It was all great. I did however get wearly of the holiday/Christmas music played for the entire voyage. That said we prefer to cruise in off peak time when it it less expensive.

We have 12/26 sailing on the Liberty this year. Very excited.

Porters at the pier $2.50/bag ×4 bags twice = $20

Excursion guide $5.00/person × 3excursions = $30

Excursion bus driver $2.50/person × 3excursions = $15

Cab driver to and from pier $2.50/bag ×4 bags twice = $10

Cab driver at port of call $5.00 × ? To and from = $10

Room service $5.00 twice per cruise = $10

Extra for room attendant assuming fabulous friendly service $20

 

Total $115

If you can't find one by febuary I could buy one than mail it to you. Iv done it before, sometimes it's the only way to get one.

That said they are around 45 USD on ship plus postage, 70 on ebay doesn't sound that bad.

Haven't been on Anthem, but you can't go wrong with Chops.

Your mileage may vary -- They have a certain "inventory" of sale priced specialty restaurant spots. For my Liberty sailing on 12/26/16, it's sold out. No specialty restaurant discounts to be had. But we had already booked our specialty dining, and it's not particularly more expensive without the discount. UNDER SIXTY DAYS!
