Reserve entertainment now, especially Comedy Club since that venue is small. CATS has gotten mixed reviews with many leaving at intermission, but we enjoyed the show. As for specialty dining, we were impressed with 150 Central and have booked it again for our upcoming cruise on Oasis in November. There was a very recent review of 150 Central posted to the blog; have a look.

.... I'm finding online only show two champagne (sparkling wine) choices (by the glass) with both being over the $13 mark. Has anyone been on a very recent cruise with the deluxe drink package and been able to get champagne without paying an up charge? Thanks for any answers!
This reflects the bar menu that I remember on Oasis last October. There are selections by the glass, but only one or two that are fully covered by the Deluxe Package. French bubblies are in the mid-$20s per glass, so your contribution would be that price minus $13, plus gratuity. Domestic sparklers are a bit less expensive but still over the limit.

Have a look at this site:

Plenty of good advice and information that will relate to your cruise and stay in Venice. It was a great help for our Med cruise in 2015.

I used it twice in Port Everglades. The key is to fill it out before you get to customs, but it saved me SO much time.
Unfortunately, right now Port Everglades is the only cruise port that accepts the app. More are reportedly being considered.

"And before anyone asks, I ate at Sabor four times. That pretty much says it all, but I will include a full review of the restaurant :)"
Only four??

I've noticed recently they've started printing your drink package on to your sea pass rather than applying a sticker.
Well, that would seem to make the most sense and it is what I assumed when no sticker was applied at check-in. But once on board, I asked a bar tender if that was the case and was told no. I had to have the sticker applied manually. Go figure...
If they can load C&A perks on the card, why not pre-purchased drink packages?

When I purchased a drink package on board the ship, they would put a little sticker on my sea pass card. I just took advantage of the 30% discount on a drink package for my cruise in March 2017. Who will put the sticker on my sea pass card and when? Or have they done away with the stickers? Thanks.
We were on Oasis last week and the sticker was not applied at check in. We had to go to one of the crew members who were selling packages on board and ask for the sticker. Each of these individuals had a list of passengers that had pre-purchased drink packages. Once confirmed by name and stateroom number, the sticker was applied to your SeaPass.

You can probably book it direct at this site:
http://www.falmouthheritagewalks.com/
It is also combined with local food tasting by this company;

Finally, it is offered as an excursion by RCI. Check the excursion list for Falmouth.

We just returned from a week on the Oasis and 150 Central was the highlight of dining for the week. Simply wonderful food and service. Go for it!

Just returned from the western Caribbean and saw that there was an Oasis -class enclosed life boat moored across from the berth of Oasis at Port Everglades. Wondering if this might the craft involved in the accident on Harmony and set to be re-united with the mother ship. Due to the distance, I couldn't read the markings on the craft, but saw that it was numbered 13. Is Harmony scheduled to dock Port Everglades when she arrives in November?

Hello Everyone - Question about the Allure of the Seas - I am getting ready to embark this Sunday on the Allure of the Seas. I don't think I can drink enough to justify one of the Drinking Packages. Does anyone know if there is a Wine Package I could buy one onboard? Maybe 4, 5, 6, or 7 Bottle Package for the cruise?
Don't think so. Wine packages were discontinued a while ago.

If our premium package is upgraded to Deluxe on Oasis this October, I'll be $2 per person to the good even with the current 20% off sale for the Deluxe. But even so, we are probably borderline for breaking even at that price given our consumption. Except with Starbucks included, my cup or two of Joe in the morning should push us into the black. Thanks RCI!!
Also, I understand that having another mixed drink or two per day can also make the package worthwhile...., and I'm seriously considering that strategy as well ;)

Many thanks for the info, but your link is for USA citizens.
Sorry, didn't see that you from England. How about this.

Enjoy the cruise and let her know everything will be fine.
Sorry all; meant to include this in the previous post.
fonemanbob; my plan is that 2 or 3 Labadoozies should make everything fine. At least temporarily..., but I'll adjust the approach, as needed... :)

.... Now to start planning excursions, shows, specialty dining, drink packages, internet...
Well, that's her job. But I have a few suggestions... Chef's Table, Chop's, 150, snorkeling in Cozumel, CATS,... and a few other things. :)

A good resource is here. Also the website for the US Dept of State has information regarding countries that require an entry visa.

After taking a few deep breaths, I just paid the first semester college tuition for our youngest daughter, and she moves in on Monday. It could have been Gold to Diamond in a year (just kidding), but really, I can't think of a better use of the funds. We're empty-nesters now, and I'm not sure the better half is really happy about that. She's not sure what she'll do,... and that's why I booked a week on Oasis this Fall. The plan is to inform her about the cruise next Tuesday.... ;)

There is/was a snail shortage:

Wow. Let's hope that they don't start preying on bananas, or we'll all be up the proverbial creek... ;)

I wonder if something like this would work... without alarming other passengers?
Looks like a good idea, but Wow! 120dB is loud. I'd try it out first before using it on board.

The 30% off offer that came out today tends to favor those with 3rd and 4th passengers in the same room as you. BOGO 50% deals tend to favor those with 1-2 people in the room.
That would be consistent with our current reservation for a couple in a single stateroom. Checked the price with the current sale and our original booking price made with a BOGO 50% sale is still slightly better.

Yes, depends on your cruise dates. Entertainment reservations for our Nov 5 cruise opened on July 4, but there is no specific schedule for this or for specialty dining reservations. Just keep checking the Cruise Planner starting about 120 days out.
