At the Captain's Welcome Aboard Party there are usually drinks freely available on the Royal Promenade. The only other occasion I can think of are the events for returning Crown & Anchor registered passengers

Stream is streraming video / progammes etc. The other package is "surf" which is to look at emails, facebook etc. As far as I know any package ordered before the start of a cruise must be for the whole duration. You may be able to order it during the cruise to last for the remaining days Sarah

I think you will have progressed to the next Crown & Anchor level after your cruise. Is there not a platinum level anymore? (That's the level I am)

I'm sailing on the Independence in October to the Canaries. Can anyone point me in the direction of how to find out who the cruise director will be? And what entertainment will be on the ship during that cruise? I've heard a rumour that the musical Grease will be performed - does anyone know if this is right? Thanks in advance for any assistance. So disappointed that I haven't sorted out my drink package, VOOM package and shore excursions before the Brexit vote. I priced up before the vote and have looked up this last week and the price of everything has gone up! I don't know whether to take the plunge and buy now or wait and see what happens with the £. I'm due to sail at the beginning of October

I think you can pay a deposit and then specify which cruise you want to do once you're home (or when the 2018 sailings are released). My parents have done that in the past and then booked the cruise they really want to do - they they get the onboard credit

Living in the UK we do not have these options. You pay the price at the time you book and that's it - if the price decreases you cannot ask to pay less & if you cancel you lose your deposit :-(

Hi all, I'm new to this site so sorry if this question has been asked before. My friend and I are cruising on the Independence of the Seas in October. Can we buy a one device VOOM package and share a log in? I realise we probably get a password and would therefore have to log in / out of our ipads so that the other could have a turn. I notice that if we buy a package before the cruise there is a discount - I'm not sure we'd get a similar deal when on board with our "platinum" status. Thanks in advance for any help Sarah
