Does anyone have any advice/tips on what time makes the most sense when it comes to making reservations for dinner in the specialty restaurants? We are trying to plan out our June ‘24 Icon sailing, but we’re uncertain of what dates/times to make dinner reservations because we want to ensure we are able to attend the entertainment options (theatre shows, comedy shows, etc.) and not be stuck in the middle of dinner. Any seasoned cruisers have advice for making reservations prior to having access to the cruise compass?

I couldn't agree with this more: traveling is one of my absolute favorite ways to spend my time, but with overly inflated prices now, it makes it so much harder to do multiple trips per year! I feel so dramatic when I complain about it, but it is truly depressing. I keep telling myself that they've got to drop eventually, but at this point I'm not holding my breath...

Hi Everyone! Setting sail on Oasis of the Seas on Dec. 17th (with my family of 5) in a 2-br AT Suite. It is our first family cruise and first time in Star Class so I'm looking for any tips, tricks, insight or recommendations that any of you well-seasoned cruisers can provide. Would love any tips related to cruising with kids (ages 5, 6, and 10), cruising during the holiday season (we absolutely adore Christmas and want to take advantage of anything holiday related on board!), or cruising Star Class for the first time (how do we make the absolute most of this experience?). I've read through a few older live blogs that were incredibly helpful, but given that the pandemic may have changed the way things are done and all good things generally evolve over time, I thought it couldn't hurt to ask this question pertaining to 2023! Any and all advice, input, and information would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone! First-time family cruiser and figured I would introduce myself. My name is Zania and while I’ve been on RC cruises in the past, it’s been (many) years and I haven’t sailed with my 3 kids before. We are setting sail on Oasis of the Seas on Dec. 17th and I can’t wait! This is going to be a Christmas surprise for my children who have no idea and we all love the holidays so it should be a great time. I’ve been reading through these message boards for the past few days and have already found them extremely helpful — so thank you! Looking forward to getting to know some of you a bit better!
