  1. I wish they would post some of those activities someplace when looking for onboard entertainment. We were on the Vision in November and they had some kind of white out party on the pool deck. There were about 30 people in white, kind of sorry. I think if they advertised parties (like the whiteout or 70's) more people would bring stuff. I'm not going to pack something just because I THINK they might have it. At least on the Allure they advertise the prohibition party (but you have to reserve that and it cost $).
  2. Never been in the suites but were on deck 11 room 725 on the Oasis. Its three from the last on that deck. It had a good view of the theater but the weather was too rough for them to perform. We are going on the oasis again, on deck 11 room 329 which is above the aqua theater suite at the end of the row. It should have a good view of the show and the boardwalk. We didn't have little ones with us but once the door was closed the noise was low plus they don't usually run the show late in the evening.. It might be different in a suite but I doubt I'll get experience for a loooong time.. Unless you really want a aqua theater suite you can always look at one of the others on board.
  3. I was talking with a friend who sails on Carnival, we were wanting to meet someplace during a cruise. We looked at shore excursions and found something interesting. Carnival, for the same excursion is cheaper. Now, why does RC charge more for the same excursion? Example: Salsa, Salsa and Margaritas: Royal - $99.00 Carnival - $69.00 Snuba Royal - $89.00 Carnival - $69.99 Tulum Royal - $119.99 Carnival - $89.99 Now some have different names but the descriptions are the same. These are only a few we found others the same way. Anyone know why RC charges more?
  4. My wife likes the Oasis class, me not so much. Not really the crowd (it is crowded at places but is like that on every ship) but I tend to get lost and always seem to wind up at the wrong end of the boat... I'm a guy so I don't ask for directions or look at the maps.. :D
  5. Thanks waaaytooo, I have to call them anyway so I'll see what I can get.
  6. As of right now, the only one booked is December 4 on Oasis. But I'm working on one or two more short ones.
  7. The ad said if you cruise after November 2016. I'll have to remember to check on this, in 10 months...
  8. We are heading back out on the Oasis in December. I noticed on the main RC page there is something called eat drink play where if you have a balcony either over central park or the boardwalk you get complimentary amenities. Anyone know if they attach them to your sail and sign or if you have to call to get them added? Also, anyone going out on the Oasis, can you post back if they have that new 10 drink card for $79? I saw it on the blog but can't find anything else about it. Thanks...
  9. From what I understand, you will not get points but will get any perks you have earned.
  10. I called once to ask about bringing bottled water on and was told I couldn't. Since then I've see people bring on water and sodas. I'm tired of paying $40 for water so next time we will carry some one and hope for the best.
  11. We booked on Oasis for December while on the Freedom last November. Told the same thing, no dining available except my time. We'll try in a couple months to see if we can squeeze in someplace.
  12. Been to it twice, cheesy - yes. Food is good and its something different... You want to know who did it? Seems the same person everytime.
  13. The first one.... My first drink is always a long island ice tea (usually from the solarium bar).
  14. I believe its only on Allure. We went, they hand you a sweet drink but look around they are serving others around the corner. They give you a pin and a password to get in, they will drag you to the dance floor and have you dance with others than came with you. They take pictures that you will find in the photo area. Everyone dresses like the 20's. Its fun..
