Hey All, My wife and I love snorkeling! I know Costa Maya is not great for snorkeling. We have already planned snorkeling in Cozumel and Roaton. Is it even worth it to do the catamaran and snorkel tour in Costa Maya? I was planning on doing Maya Chan but the ship leaves at 2PM....

I have an UDP question as well! I know you can make reservations at any restaurant when you get on board except for Izumi. Is that just Izumi Hibachi or does that also include the Sushi Section. So could we make Izumi Sushi reservations at Chops on embarkation day?

When is the best time to go to Maya Chan to avoid the majority of the seaweed? Or is it more random?

I know you did not ask about this but you should really check out "Glacier Wind Charters" in Icy Straight Point for the best whale watching ever! small family owned boats that is affordable and only a handful of people. One of my favorite ever excursions!.

@Xaa have you tried the new Menu's? Curious to hear from people who have tried them because I also have just heard a bunch of negative reviews.
