Hi, We are sailing next week on Independence of the Seas and notice there is a Johnny Rockets on board. It looks like the service charge is now $6.95 pp and does not include SODA nor Shakes.....Is that correct. No beverages are included? Anyone dined recently at Johnny Rockets aboard RCL and have insight ?

There are 3 and 4 night cruises out of Port Canaveral, which is an hour from Orlando, that go to Bahamas and Coco Cay. Port Canaveral is easy to get in and out of.

Coffee, Tea, Lemonade, and tap water. The drink options in the basic drink/soda package depend on the ship and if they have the free-style machines or not.

Seems odd they would change an itinerary so far out and not notify you. I mean you did pay for one thing and you are getting something totally different. I would definitely call them. Maybe they moved your original itinerary to another ship? One could hope. Good Luck.

We snorkeled in Coco Cay last year and just went into the water without a life jacket. No one said anything to us. We are strong swimmers (being from Florida). It is a long swim out to the sunken treasures so if you are not a strong swimmer I would rent one.

We sailed Enchantment last year March and could feel the boat rocking on the trip back to Port Canaveral. It was there first time I have gotten sick. The captain was hauling and seas were a little rough. We were back of ship deck three. Other than that, it was fine. Next time I will try the patch behind the ear. Good Luck and don't miss eating at Chops!

We went snorkeling last March at Coco Cay and it was great. Lots to see including rays, sunken airplane, and war stuff. Bring your own equipment if you can as renting was expensive. Water was nice.

We have an excursion booked thru our travel agent for Belize next month on Independence of the Seas. Since it is not booked thru RCL any suggestions on getting off the ship quickly in Belize? Our tour starts about an hour after we arrive in Belize and looks like we are being tendered to shore. Any help would be appreciated.

Senor Frogs is a fun place, but be prepared to drop some $$$$. We had about an hour wait as a lot of ships were in port and it was very over priced in my opinion, especially since I could see our ship sitting there with a free lunch on board.....

Port Canaveral has some good off site parking that is very reasonable. We have used Park Port Canaveral before and was very pleased at $8.95 per day. Only a 5 minute ride to ships.

I will tip normal next month and report back.....Taking a backpack with me just in case.

Too funny - I hear ya

Just FYI - I was researching remote parking lots in the Port Everglades area and it appears they all double and triple valet park your car. Too risky for having your car buried and taking longer to retrieve when you return. I think I will feel better parking at the port near our ship. Just saying.

Hello, Sailing next month on Independence of the Seas to Belize and Cozumel. This will be our first time in Cozumel on a cruise ship. I am on a budget and spending too much money on an excursion in Belize to zip line and tube the caves. My question is, if I stay in the port area of Cozumel is there enough to do for a few hours or should I look at another excursion? Thoughts or Recommendations? Thanks....

There is also a nice Intercontinental hotel downtown Miami overlooking the cruise ship port.

I would stay in FLL area. Find a hotel close to the Tri-rail train station or take a cab to the closest Tri-rail station. It runs to the Miami airport where you can catch the metrorail or cab out toward the port. It is cheaper and you don't have to worry about traffic.

Depends on if you want your bags to make the ship or not - Just Kidding. Generally $2 per bag is what I do.
