First complaint of the cruise. I went up to windjammer for an early breakfast and did not see a made to order omelet station.
I've seen omelet stations in every other windjammer, including Wonder last June.
I even asked the restaurant manager and he confirmed that they didn't have one. He pointed out some pre made omelets (only 2 choices) that were really half omelets.
Dissapointing, as this is my go to breakfast at windjammer. I'm not sure if is just Allure or a fleet wide cutback.
They are in the solarium bistro. I haven't read the rest of your thread so apologies if it's mentioned later. I LOVE my made to order omelets and was really disappointed to hear that Allure doesn't have it in the windjammer.

Got back from our trip last weekend. She went to the desk when we arrived and they let her switch her time, no problem. The check in process was actually very easy
Thanks for reporting back. Many are reporting that check in times are not really enforced across the board.

How often do they clean the hot tubs?
Once per voyage, once a day or is it worse?
you may want to post in the royal caribbean discussion thread. This one is for news and rumors.

Definitely my normal breakfast!
Mine too. Any time I have breakfast in WJ, my first stop is the omelet station. I knew Wipe Out Cafe had it but once El Loco Fresh replaced it, I heard their omelet station went away. I knew Wipe Out Cafe had the made-to-order omelets because I love them LOL! I just assumed the WJ would have it.

Main Dining only. Definitely a negative for me.
Wow, that is highly disappointing. It’s a tradition for me on my Royal Caribbean cruises. For like the last dozen cruises, I always go to the WJ for my traditional made-to-order omelet. I get it 2 or 3 times on a cruise, anytime, I have breakfast in the WJ.
-
I'm confused. Does Allure have a omelet station? I know the Wipeout cafe had one, but with the cafe replaced, my understanding is they don't have made to order omelets anymore.

I am currently in a junior suite and I am thinking about bidding for a grand suite for my cruise on Allure later this year. For folks who were upgraded to a grand suite after being in a lower category, when you are notified of a winning bid, does a concierge reach out to you? There are perks using a concierge before booking so I was curious how that works? I'm sort of laughing at myself because I should probably wait to ask this IF I win, but it just popped into my head LOL. Maybe it will help someone else too

I have an upcoming reservation with them for 2 people and I have family who have used them for 2 people. Please make sure you use the link I provided to their facebook page because there are imitators with similar names. The correct name is “Galveston Saltwater Moms”
Is this what they sent you? Read it carefully because the “6 passengers or more” only applies to the 10 person SUV option.
Yes, so they must have two flyers. This is what I got when I asked for six people.
They only sent me the one for six or more people. Glad they have it for 2-4 people too. Thanks!

I saw the same requirement for my August cruise. Do they provide the KN95 mask if it is required?
-
Does Saltwater Moms take reservations for 2-4 people? I reached out to them and asked if they took six people, and they sent a picture of an advertisement that said minimum was six people. Is that based on one price criteria? We may end up going as a group of 2 and 4 people so that's why I am asking here.

Lack of basic elevator etiquette - letting others out before rushing in, moving to the side or back of the car to let someone else in, and letting those who actually need it get on first. All that seems to go out the window for quite a few people as soon as they set foot in the cruise terminal.
that is mine too. Last cruise a few teenagers, rushed the elevator as i was getting off, almost knocking into me. I told them to be patient. Their response, was "sorry" and as the door was closing "sorry....b!tch"

Does the refreshment package cover the JR milkshakes?

We are booking two cabins next to each other on our cruise next year. One is a grand suite and the other is a balcony cabin. It would be great to open it up to one big balcony. Can they still open the balcony dividers on the Allure of the Seas? Does anyone know?
-
I'm looking to book a Grand Suite on Allure that connects with an ocean-view balcony. My brother would occupy the ocean view balcony cabin. Are the walls between the balconies able to be moved so it's one large balcony? Does anyone know?
Also, I see it's really close to the elevators/stairway. Do either cabin (grand suite or ocean view balcony) face an opening to the stairway/elevator area?
-
I had this problem for my last cruise. I used the website, no problem.

Thanks for the replies. I don't believe any grand suites have a hot tub. Perhaps the higher tier suites do.
I do sort of think it's a toss up. Decisions, decisions. I see a benefit in staying on any of those decks!

We are seriously considering upgrading our cabin to a Grand Suite on Allure of the Seas. I am considering booking a suite on Deck 12, Deck 8, or Deck 6.
I noticed the grand suites are very close to the aft elevators. I hope there is no noise from the elevator banks if you are in a Grand Suite?
I like the idea of deck 6 being close to the boardwalk and Royal Promenade (Deck 5), but I wonder about any noise below. Any experiences? Deck 8 is where we are booked now, and I like the convenience of Central Park, but my reasoning for being there is being close to Park Cafe in the morning. Lastly, Deck 12 is the same deck my brother is on, so besides that reason, I'm not sure if Deck 12 offers any conveniences besides being close to the Diamond lounge (we are diamond).
Would you be able to share their experiences of being on these decks? It's probably a tie between deck 6 and 8 and wondering if you felt one was better than the other.

Yes! This is MisterZ's favorite suite perk. You cannot order ahead, however.
Just call room service and say "I'd like to order off the dining room menu". There will be a copy in your suite folder, or you can look in the app ahead. Delivery takes less than 30 minutes, normally.
Fantastic! I also love the eggs Benedict! It’s one of my breakfast favorites! There is a copy of the MDR breakfast menu in the suite folder? I don’t eat lunch in the MDR to know if the menu changes daily though. I remember being able to see the MDR dinner menu on the tv so that was easy to spot. We ordered MDR formal night dinner in cabin so we didn’t have to dress up. This was about 5 or 6 years ago. That’s how long it’s been since we were in a grand suite or higher.

I wanted to ask if breakfast room service is available from the dining room if booking a Grand Suite? We will be on Allure of the Seas. I remember, in the past, being able to order dining room dinner in our suite, but I don't remember if ordering breakfast (or lunch) from the dining room is an option for suite guests.
I remember the tags with continental breakfast (free) and a couple of other paid options, but the dining room breakfast has more choices. If so, how is it ordered? Just calling the room service #? I would prefer to order it the evening before to get it in a certain time frame like the time frames we check off on a tag.
Thanks in advance!
