  2. Just got the new documents and luggage tags. About 7 hours later. Not bad. Best part, I don't have to make an hour long phone call. LOL.
  3. Got my Royal Up! Just came in. From Inside GTY to Ocean View Infinite Balcony! Min bid $170pp.
  4. Got my Royal Up! From Inside GTY to Ocean View Infinite Balcony. Great location, Deck 10 midship. Zero complaints. The minimum bid was $170pp. We booked day 1 when Icon opened so we only paid $1100pp. Always fine with GTY and Inside. Our Icon is not selling well, so we figured we would have a good shot and only did a bid for fun. It's just a nice perk. Did we need to spend another $340, absolutely not. It was a YOLO kinda thing. So far I'm reading on message boards, Facebook, etc that people are doing well with Royal Up for our sailing. Only problem is people aren't getting there documents/luggage tags changed on website. Seems to be a running theme. Does it usually change or is a call in my future tomorrow?
  5. Ok, So today is 30 days AKA Documents day. Has my GTY cabin as expected. However, checked my Royal Up Bids. All categories but 1 are listed as "expired". Then 1 category is listed as "pending". The one left listed as pending, what are the odds that will become something?
  6. Oh to movement in general. Theory is the height of the slides and amount is acting like a sail and is causing more motion in general. I read this somewhere. Kinda makes sense.
  7. Front of ship always has more movement. That's why those cabins tend to sell last. If the waves in pool are too intense, the aqua show gets cancelled and rescheduled. Probably moving from back was a bad idea. But the indoor concept looks really good. All the YouTube videos say book show for early in week to make time for possible rescheduling later in week. I booked night one. If it gets rescheduled, LOL....I have a rescheduling nightmare. Have something booked every night. Gonna be busy. LOL.

  11. If you are on Adventure and returning to port on the 6th as listed. According to my quick search there are rental cars still available. Try searching via Travelocity. Again, if not you can Uber, taxi, or book GoPort to return to MCO. Or go to guest services and book Royals transportation back to airport. You have multiple options.
  12. So you get an Uber or taxi and hang at the airport. Stuff happens.
  13. While putting a dome over the water show was a great idea, reports are moving it to front of ship has brought more motion. This is causing more cancellations and rescheduling. That could account for some date saving.
  14. My docs are not ready yet. Now that it's Wed we are at 31 Days, should be tomorrow. Also, I was wondering same thing about day 5. Seems like show's become less and less as week goes on. A lot less on day 5, 6, and 7 compared to first half of week. As per past cruise compasses Crazy Quest has been running on day 5 at 11pm. First come first serve of course.
  15. But excursions get cancelled. The explanation is probably not enough people booked it. The explanation wouldn't help you get to the airport anyway. I get it then becomes a chore to figure out transportation. However, the original poster made finding back up transportation sound boarder line impossible. And as anyone around here knows from Port Canaveral to Orlando is easy with multiple options. Even last minute. I kind of read it as being put in a difficult situation transportation wise. And I still don't think it is. Inconvenient/Disappointing maybe, at best.
  16. You could get an Uber, Taxi, and probably even book GoPort. Plenty of ways to still get to the airport from the port without the excursion. The warning really is valid. And if it got cancelled while still on ship, you could even still go online to look for more shuttle services from Port Canaveral.
