  1. The Pirates Treasure Museum is very close to downtown. You can check out the website here. Also they have directions. It's a great place for kids. https://piratemuseumstthomas.com/
  2. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/gbr/en/faq/questions/what-if-i-am-traveling-with-a-minor-and-i-am-not-their-parent-or-legal-guardian?country=GBR This is the official answer from Royal Caribbean. I will state that if you check in all together at the desk you won't need the letter because how you divide your family up among rooms is your decision, but if you checked in separately there could be an issue. I have read other people's comments in the past who have split up their family, sometimes with connecting doors between rooms opened. If you really want extra assurance, there is no harm in calling Royal Caribbean for confirmation.
  3. I am firmly of the belief that more people would dress for the special themed nights if more advance notice was sent out to people. 70s night, white colour night, tropical: great I have none of those in my luggage.
  4. There is of course this alternative for entering the freshwater pools. You can also use the ones on the island to avoid damaging your own.
  5. Matt posts all of the menus here. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2024/01/09/royal-caribbean-menus As for Taste of Royal History and A Taste of the World they have been offered for a while. I found the documents. I have attached these menus!
  6. This is the B roll of Oasis Lagoon at CocoCay filmed by Royal Caribbean, note that not every entrance into the pool is zero entry. https://www.royalcaribbeanpresscenter.com/video/1098/oasis-lagoon-at-perfect-day-at-cococay-b-roll/
  7. my preferred method of entry into the pool is the majestic belly flop.
  8. Yeah I am a platinum level too and have received numerous emails with this offer. Not sure what the rush is, if this is a long-term program. I detest spam.
  9. I only get worried about items disappearing when I pull out a family photo and I start to notice my family members slowly disappearing. It's the main reason I never use my time traveling Delorean anymore to visit 1985. Royal will have the website and application fixed eventually, just relax.
  10. My phone always mysteriously malfunctions when I board cruise ships rendering it unable to receive any work communication.
  11. Please check your hotel website or call them and ask about transportation from MCO to Cape Canaveral area hotels. There are shuttle services such as this one which are common in the area and used by many hotels. My advice is to AVOID paying to rent a car and park at the cruise terminal. Also I would recommend booking a direct shuttle through Royal Caribbean's app, which can be found listed under the last day of the cruise often on sale for a discounted rate.
  12. I will now make sure to check under my bed in the stateroom every night to see if there are cabin stewards hiding there. If you are hiding there, I will find you!
  13. Wonder of the Seas, September 29th to October 6th, in an Owner's Suite
  14. Well if you really love the robes you can purchase one from Royal Caribbean. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/royalgifts/luxury-robe
  15. When I board the ship I suffer from an adrenaline high, a relaxation high, and usually a sugar high after visiting the sweets shop onboard. And then there's the alcoholic drinks.....
  16. Saw my credit card charged this morning before 8 AM here for this upgrade. I will be thinking of all of you while on my suite sundeck on my 8th margarita of the early afternoon. And the cruise doesn't leave until the end of September so there is plenty of time for planning. Hopefully Mother Nature continues to sleep peacefully.
  17. I know the best deal! Why pay for a holiday cruise when you can be paid for the cruise? Sign up to join Royal Caribbean as an employee.
  18. Well you can order room service in the morning and pizza is on the menu. So just wake up early and order a pizza and then grab some breakfast items and decorate your pizza in your stateroom. If you are as much of a pizza fanatic as I am you will find a way!
  19. Looking forward to finally sailing out on a larger ship than the Vision Class ships that serve my home port of Baltimore. Not looking forward to paying for a hotel room and airfare this time. Going to explore every bar on the ship!
  20. I am very open to people wearing the clothes they feel most comfortable wearing, as long as it meets society's minimum standards of decency. On my last sailing with Vision of the Seas, I witnessed multiple people at breakfast in only their bathrobes from the room which I believe you should do your best to avoid. I would also strongly advise not walking around barefoot in public areas.
  21. This has been a longstanding issue on this ship previously covered here on our forum back in July.
  22. I see, so if memory serves me right this is probably located in the Windjammer buffet because the only other place to eat a meal on Vision of the Seas on that deck is Park Place in the Solarium and it's not so much a meal as snacks most of the day and that's usually when the Windjammer is closed. Most unfortunate if this source is correct.
  23. Can I please have the source so I can read the posts there to learn more about this incident?
