  1. I agree, really good blog matt! I enjoyed the more personal touch and some of your own thoughts. not all necessarily good.
  2. me neither! if that was me which it isnt. I would turn it into hooked, that's my personal opinion. I guess the galley area is still there for it? such a waste of a wonderful space. :( Also matt could you get pictures of the English pub and cinema please? TIA :)
  3. I went on her 2 years ago from Europe and will be returning in 96 days ( not that im counting ) I loved the experience. very different to an oasis class ship but it still has familiar aspects such as chops grille, Giovannis table and the schooner bar to name a few. The pool area was a good area and we didn't have trouble getting a bed at all.
  4. For sure that is a good idea, the best man and bridesmaid can organise all this :P Although I like the idea of planning a few activities just maybe when its comes to it let them take charge on the day.
  5. oh wow, I have heard of it but never knew what it was. that sounds like a really good idea! it will sure be exciting and funny to blame someone when they don't win on their spins haha!
  6. Ah yes mini golf! ice skating and a slot pull how does a slot pull work? I've heard the term and guess you start with $10 and see who gets the most or something?
  7. Got engaged last November in New York, now just starting to plan the Wedding I'm thinking maybe a few events like matt does for his GC's but not sure what he does do as I haven't been on one :( just activates for guests to enjoy around the ship
  8. Right so I'm toying with the idea of a Cruise wedding on an oasis class ship. what events would you recommend to do on the ship? Activities to do as groups I have so far .... pub crawl Flowriders rock climbing wall Spa Day for the girls football / soccer for the guys ping pong tournament
  9. furthermore I'm looking as we speak. it is coming up with the drinks package included at a price of £1698 for 2 people in 6V interior that includes drink package and $100 OBC
  10. @l9dance I have sailed from Southampton on 4 occasions and have always seen the package for sale on board. you could always book with a Uk travel agent? I can put you in contact with one or if you want to discuss it further let me know :)
  11. @twangster im not sure if its just me but none of the pictures are coming up? ive tried my work pc, wifes pc, iphone, ipad nothing comes up :(
  12. so its a 2 month dry dock! surely some info must be coming out soon so they can gather interest for future cruises
  13. Lots of different pictures would be great and some more thoughts on the ship that we do not normally see on the blog.
  14. with the steady release of the 2020 itinerys being released it has got me wondering where quantum 5 will be? Europe could be on option but Southampton Uk will already have Explorer and Anthem. NY will have adventure and oasis. im struggling to see whereit could be headed? middle east? asia? australia?
  15. Ive recently been on my cruise planner in one of my daily checks like a cruise nerd and saw an option for casino credit onboard which gets you extra credit and a scratchcard.
  16. Has anyone been on Radiance of the Seas recently and can shed any light on whether samba grill is still in operation? it is on deck 11 AFT - starboard side
