  1. Thanks for posting this. My wife and I watched the video and enjoyed it. We are also traveling with our 7 year old son in June so it was very helpful.
  2. Has anyone tried Giovanni’s on Icon for lunch? I can’t find a lunch menu so I was wondering how different the menu is for lunch compared to dinner. Thanks in advance.
  3. I saw a video on YouTube that mentioned that they heard the milkshakes would soon be included in the Deluxe Beverage Package on Icon. Does anyone know if this is true? I know they were not originally included but I’ve seen several negative reviews about the cost, so hopefully this rumor is true.
  4. This may be a dumb question but we booked the “Sea to Sky, Harbor Cruise and Skyride to Paradise Point” in St. Thomas. I can’t find any information aside from the description on the cruise planner. Will this include our ticket to ride the Skyride or will we have to pay for that in addition to the cost of the excursion? It was very cheap, only $45 per person. It’s much cheaper than just the Skyride only excursion, which is what is making me think maybe the ticket to ride the gondola is not included.
  5. The price for the DBP for our Icon sailing in June 2024 is on sale today for 70.99. That’s the lowest price since we booked over a year ago. I’m not sure if this will apply to other sailings but I just wanted to share in case anyone is interested in checking the price today for their sailing.
  6. Check out the ice shows. They were both really good. There is not a bad seat in Studio B, but it is rather small so just show up a few minutes early to make sure you get a seat. There’s an adult themed game show that also takes place in Studio B one night when the ice rink is not in place. It involves a good bit of crowd participation. It’s really entertaining.
  7. I saw a standard balcony room tour on Icon yesterday and it did have a closet. The shower looked bigger as well. It has a seat in it. There were several charging ports, and lots of shelves for storage. I was impressed overall with the room.
  8. I got the unlimited drink package on our last cruise and noticed that whenever I ordered a drink, they did not ask me to sign the receipt and add gratuity. People who did not have the package did have to sign the receipt. So I never felt pressured to tip in addition to the prepaid gratuity that was already paid for.
  9. We are sailing on Icon in June 2024 and the DBP is 76.99 today. That is the lowest price since we booked over a year ago. It was 89.99 during the Black Friday sale. I’m surprised it’s that low so we booked it. Given the cost of everything on Icon, this is a pretty good deal.
  10. I looked into purchasing the three night dining plan for our cruise on Icon. I noticed it says that Izumi Hibachi is a $15 surcharge. If purchased separately, Chops is $5 more than Izumi Hibachi, and Hooked is the exact same price. If that’s the case, why is there a $15 surcharge? I feel like maybe I’m missing something with this.
  11. The drink package for Icon in June has been running on sale for 85.99. Now it says bogo 50% and the price is 89.99. That’s not exactly a great deal.
  12. We were able to sign up for laser tag on the app after we boarded. They offered if a couple of different days but we could only sign up once. However, our son really wanted to play again so we showed the second time they offered it and they allowed us to play since the game wasn’t full. Our son really enjoyed it. I hope you guys have a good time.
  13. We visited Coco for the first time in June. Our son was five at the time. We didn’t stay at the pool very long because because It wasn’t kid friendly at all. It reminded me of Club La Vela in the 90’s. Hopefully they will make it more family friendly since the adults have their own area now.
  14. I agree. We booked Icon the week it came out for a June 2024 sailing. We priced it this week when they released the summer 2025 sailings. The same week in 2025, with the same room category and a very similar itinerary, is $1,500 more than what we paid for June 2024. A Disney cruise on Wish for the same week in 2024 is similar in price. We like Royal but these prices are getting too high.
  15. Does anyone know where I can find out where ships will be going out of in the summer of 2025? I have searched online and can’t find anything past April 2025. We would like to try a side to side cruise (I think that’s the correct terminology), so we are interested to see which ships will be sharing a port that summer. We are interested in the Florida ports and possibly Galveston. Thanks in advance.
  16. We visited Labadee this week on Mariner. We also visited Coco Cay on this trip. Although we enjoyed Coco Cay, Labadee was by far our favorite port. We have friends who visited a few months ago and they agreed that this was their favorite port. It seems like Labadee is not visited as often as other ports but we would absolutely love to go again. Why doesn’t RC promote this port more and send more ships there? When looking at the schedule it appears that it is only used once or twice every two weeks or so. It seems odd considering how nice it is and that it is exclusive to Royal Caribbean.
  17. I called Royal Caribbean to book the unlimited plan and thought I would just ask them about the three night plan. She told me that you can dine at multiple restaurants the first three nights starting with either the first or second day. That doesn’t seem right but that’s what she said. @Matt do you know if this is true?
  18. Thanks. This attached picture makes it sound like we would get both so that is what confuses me. It’s worded exactly like the Unlimited Plan.
  19. If we book the three night dining plan, will we also get the $20 per day credit at restaurants like Playmakers in addition to dinner at the three sit down restaurants, similar to the Unlimited Dining Plan?
  20. I just booked this for our trip on Mariner in June. It was 88.99 per package for two adults. Our surf and stream package for two devices was $144 so I just canceled it. We are saving $55 and are getting the internet plus the other things that are mentioned in the first post. This is a great deal. Thanks for posting about it to let us all know.
  21. We are also on this sailing. It will be our first cruise in 15 years. We are bringing our five year old son. We look forward to it.
  22. If we purchase the unlimited dining plan and use the $20 credit at Playmakers, are we still able to eat dinner on the same day at a specialty restaurant? Also, do you get the $20 per day credit with the three night dining plan or is that just for three meals at specialty restaurants?
  23. We are booked on Icon in June 2024. Our cruise planner already has drink packages available as well as some shore excursions.
  24. We booked a cruise on Icon in June 2024 but have decided to cruise to Alaska instead. We paid $250 per person as a deposit. Will RC allow us to switch the ship without a fee, or how much will be be charged to do so? The cruise we want to change to is the same week in 2024.
  25. We are going to make a reservation for Izumi for our family of three. Our son will be five years old. It says that 0-5 are free but must order from the kids menu. When I include him on the reservation, it charges us for him. Do we just make the reservation for the two adults and just take him with us or does he have to be included on the reservation? If he has to be included, how do we add him without being charged?
