  1. Absolutely... I looked at PDCC schedule for that general time frame, and that was the only day with one ship, so they got super lucky they were able to get moved there instead of just another sea day.
  2. Our friends are on Oasis on AUGUST 3rd and already got re-routed from Labadee to CoCo cay... I told them they got lucky, it's a great replacement, and they can still enjoy that drink package!! Unlucky that they are there with Icon, though...lol
  3. Not sure what's up with these prices, probably just a test or something, but apparently someone found room service menus on the app for a Sept. Icon sailing.... @OCSC Mike do you see the glaring mistake that jumped right out at me!?
  4. The date of the picture looks like its 4/17/23... which turns up the MSC Seaside. This link brings you to the same picture but on Google earth, which dates it's shots on the very bottom... https://earth.google.com/web/search/Roatán,+Honduras/@16.31212009,-86.54549165,1.43700661a,568.17947183d,35y,0.00038267h,0.44346105t,0r/data=CiwiJgokCaQ9vjKnV0RAEQlXifG-VURAGcV6KmTbf1LAIVECQV8fgVLAQgIIAToDCgEwQgIIAEoNCP___________wEQAA
  5. It's definitely MSC, I can see the logo, just not sure of the ship
  6. Saw a video of a drone going up and down, spraying the interior balcony windows. Thought it was pretty cool...
  7. Yeah, just that row on the beach, the rest were all still open, so I'm sure it was just a group and the rest would probably be available for a while, but for $130 bucks down- I just got it out of the way.
  8. Ha ha, oh I've looked at the menu...but I'm 10 months out. What I DO have to figure out eventually is the flight down there.. during spring break..not looking forward to that one
  9. @AshleyDilloWe will definitely check out MEGA, love a good foreign superstore!! @OCSC Mike After watching TWO YouTube tours, showing her the pics from the website and the pics from your blog... then noticing that now the whole row of beach beds were booked, so I assume a group booked them all, we went ahead and booked it. She also picked 21 for the day bed, that corner location and the table sold her, plus it seemed a little livelier up at the pool than the beach. We're old and lame, but still like a little action and music on vacation. I had no plans on doing it this soon, but the fact that 4 or 5 beds went in a day, I figured I'd get it over with before we missed out.
  10. This is new and I'm so excited about it. I'd rather drink a bunch of Heineken 0.0 than a few mocktails any day!
  11. I just realized, I'm doing this on MSC, so we likely will be at the downtown port. So maybe we will walk around for a few minutes before or after the beach club.
  12. Ok, I DID notice that a few of them had little tables with little chairs that looked like beach chairs, then a few bigger tables at other ones. I'll admit, I'm going back and forth with #1, #21... I like the idea of being in the corner there, or 13 which is still poolside but a quick walk to the beach. I'll show the wife the pictures later and let her make the decision...she's the one with some mobility issues, so I'll let her pick. And thank you for explaining the oddly numbered ones, I was trying to figure out a reasoning!
  13. Oh ok, so not worth getting a cab or something, right? Just stick to the port and heading to the beach club?
  14. Thanks... I was looking at the site with the map of the day beds and didn't even realize I could click on the number above them to see a picture, that definitely helps. After doing that, I think we'll definitely grab one by the pool... they are back a bit far on the beach to be a big deal, I'd rather look at the pool and the pool bar activity than the backs of umbrellas and rows of loungers. And I agree, on the ship I'm fine with going and getting my own stuff, but at a place like this, and when we did Mr Sanchos, the service is part of the experience and cost to me. We did a tour around Roatan last time, and might do it again with another company and to check some other areas out, I figure if we do a beach and pool day in Cozumel, then we probably won't do it at Roatan and try to find something else to do- plus the port has been re-done and opened since we were there two years ago, so we will likely just check that out and make a decision on the fly. Crazy, when I went back to look at the day beds, one is now showing as booked... guess we should do this soon just to be safe
  15. I came back to your blog because we are planning way ahead and visiting Cozumel in March, did Sanchos last time and it was just ehhh... so if we do another beach club type thing, I think Paradise Beach is on top of our list. I scrolled way back to see your day bed info..looking at the map, you guys were opposite of the beach. I guess those ones at the bottom are ocean view, and now I can't decide if we'd rather be closer to the pool bar\pool and bathroom where we'd enjoy it more OR the ocean which is where the kid would probably want to swim more than the pool. Also, have you or anyone done anything IN Cozumel, like in town? I never even considered it, but saw some posts about there being an ok little area to walk around and check out.
  16. All the TA had to do was call OR even use the chat feature on the TA booking page. I just used that to get a group of 16 I booked to be seated together, super easy and took all of 5 minutes for them to confirm they would seat the group at two 8 top tables next to each other. This is right about the time they would want to do that for a mid-June cruise.
  17. Yeah, the pier 7 thing surprises me, thought for sure they'd change that up. Looks like a few variations in the Aquadome eatery is about the biggest change
  18. YEP! My Oasis for next August dropped TWICE in the past few weeks. Got an email about $150 drop last week and another $50 this week... Nothing huge but I had to change this cruise TWICE, so $600 in change fees total, at least this makes me feel like I'm getting some of that back.
  19. Yep, I still use mine for Royal bookings, and she actually reaches out to me for price drops... two of them in the past 2 weeks already! Slowly getting those multiple date change fees back, lol.
  20. Just saw this: https://cruiseradio.net/royal-caribbean-buys-closed-bahamas-resort-for-300m/
  21. Yes, I used it quite a few times for a few mocktails, also this machine is what made my kid change it up from the Shirley Temple to the Shirley Ginger
  22. There was a crazy sale for PDCC a few days ago, I almost caved and got the Coco Beach club for the three of us at half price. I might want to actually do something on coco cay this time, a day bed or the beach club, and I almost pulled the trigger. BUT it's like 16 months out, and I can't bring myself to make that commitment this early
  23. Rumor is that it will be Hero of the seas from a few posts I've seen, how legit that is... who knows.
  24. Or this...which did happen on Royal.... https://www.cruiselawnews.com/2025/04/articles/passenger-rights/cruise-passenger-beaten-unconscious-on-royal-caribbeans-liberty-of-the-seas/
