we now officially have less days until the cruise than the amount of days of the cruise itself!!
So excited!! Have you joined the FB page for this trip too?

We are going on Odyssey’s TA next month and are curious if there are any lecture series on the longer sailings? We did a 11 night Holy Land / Greece cruise and I do not remember there being any. Maybe since it was so port intensive or maybe I just missed them?? If you have been on one with lectures, what were any of the topics?

This is amazing!! do you mind sharing general information about this? did you go straight from the ship to there? did you have luggage with you? did you just show up? sorry for all the questions, and I know I could just google this, but I also like hearing from people's experiences!
It was very easy! We took the shuttle from the ship to the train station. We then rode the train to the San Pietro exit. The walk is about 10 minutes and we dropped off our luggage on the way.
When we got to St Peters, there was a line but they kept us moving quickly. I looked back at my pics and we were seated by 9:15. We did not rush off the ship or at the station at all.We are thinking we will go to the Pantheon for Mass this time. If I remember correctly, their Mass is at 10:30.
I hope this helps?!?

Because May is a very popular time to visit, I don’t think you can plan too early for where you are going to stay. Some of the tickets to enter the Vatican and other museums I have found to be available 30-60 days in advance.

Today check in opens for our cruise!
Also, if anyone is spending time in Rome after the cruise, May 5th is the first Sunday of the month when the museums are free to enter.

Thanks for the good info as my husband is an Episcopal priest (former Catholic priest) and says Mass for our family when we cruise. I will have him post something on the boards as we would welcome anyone that wanted to join.

Room service?

I would not worry at all. We cruise a lot and book gty 95% of the time with zero issues. Have a great cruise.

Do they ever open the roof of the Solarium on Serenade when on a Caribbean sailing?
-
I believe there is no cellular service at Coco Cay however if you have the ship’s internet package it will work there.

We have sailed Harmony many times and just until recently the kids always stayed in the balcony cabin with us and were totally happy with their bed arrangements. If you look at any of the cabin walkthru’s online and you see the couch, imagine the bottom of the couch pulling out just like a trundle. So one sleeps up on the ‘seat’ of the couch and one sleeps on a bed on floor level. I will keep looking thru my photos and come back and post a pic if I find one!

Thank you both! We will skip booking this one

We have the option to sign up for a few onboard activities on Day 5 of our 4 night cruise on Serenade Dec 5th.
The Sip.Tour. Brunch starts at 11:30 and we are flying home later that day from MIA. I am wondering what time I would have to push back my flight to if we did this one? There is also the sushi class and full access tour being offer that day.
I have noticed that the World cruise does not leave until the following day so could this be the reason they are offering activities the last morning of our cruise?

The ones I went to were either €0.50 or €1 unless you were in a museum like Vatican Museums or Borghese etc, then no charge. Yes, exact change is needed as most do not have an attendant. Some have turn-styles or various payment slots.
I hope this helps.
