  1. We've always gotten breakfast at usually Chops while staying in a suite. Do we also get lunch at chops since AOS doesn't have a Country Kitchen? Bill
  2. Please let us know what does happen to your 80 dollars, we're scheduled on the AOS to Bermuda soon and will be watching. Bill
  3. RCCL is no different than other commercial travel insurance accept RCCL is the underwriter or seller. RCCL travel insurance covers you from leaving the front door until you return to your front door. Trip interruption and evacuation medical. Our Cruise Lady always checks prices when booking our trips. Usually if we are using RCCL's air2sea the RCCL insurance is a better price. Our upcoming AOS is insured through RCCL and we also have our air through air2sea which was cheaper because of discounted first class airfare. Bill
  4. The age comment is poking a little fun at bus trips for older folks our age where everyone has a lanyard with name tag in case you forget.
  5. I print all documents and have them sorted by passenger. When checking in I hand the agent the passport with the documents and the next thing you know we're on board having a drink and enjoying VACA! Bill
  6. Does anyone know if there is a CC on Adventure of the Seas? We'll be on it August 18th, 2022 and a nice cigar would be nice.. Bill
  7. We use the luggage tag holder with metal attachments. At 72 I'm not old enough for a lanyard yet. But the lanyards are nice for people who like them. Bill
  8. Yep, oh don't forget Level 5! Feet firmly planted on ship and that feeling of relief that everything fell into place allowing the cruise stars to align! We're 77 days out from AOS for a 9 night cruise, Oh Boy.
  9. My late wife who was an RN and worked for our state health department always was concerned about proper handling of food and cleanliness of the kitchen. There is a Federal Agency which inspects all ships sailing from U.S. Ports and makes the findings part of the Public Record. I thought some of you might like to check your future cruise ship so here is the link. Bill https://wwwn.cdc.gov/InspectionQueryTool/InspectionSearch.aspx
  10. Matt, the comment I hear the most is "you don't need a Travel Agent to book a cruise and you will get a better price booking directly through the Cruise Line. I consistently get better deals through Paz my TA. Along with better deals I have an advocate who works for me and behalf not the cruise line should there be a problem. I am glad to say in my 69 cruises with RCCL there hasn't been a problem we couldn't work out. Great question. Bill
  11. Our TA takes care of all RCCL bills and payments. About a week from our cruise she will send us the cruise contract, receipt paid in full, insurance coverage and depending on the cruise luggage tags. Bill
  12. According to the Bermuda Travel site you fill out the application, upload your vaccination card, payment of 40 dollars. Upon arrive you show the same negative covid test you used to board the ship. We're cruising on AOS in August to Bermuda so I've been following and researching the Bermuda TA. 13. We had the same situation on our last cruise in March, 2022 on EOS. My wife had a different last name listed with Delta and a different last name with RCCL. We had all the needed documents to tie the names together and had a great cruise. We have now corrected the situation with a new passport, pre-check and one last name for all documents. It only takes one agent having a bad day to cause a lot of headaches when your documents are questionable.
  14. If passengers book entire cruise vacation through RCCL including airfare will RCCL assist getting you to the ship should you have a plane cancellation getting to the cruise? Just curious. Bill
