This was a couple of months ago.  I don't remember exactly what the question was, I believe it was about which at home, rapid test, proctored tests will Royal accept at the Terminals.

It is/was what it is/was.  Raven, you may have had quick responses, I am truly happy for you.  But, with my one and only questions, I did not get a quick response.  And no, it wasn't a PM, it was a question on Facebook, not messenger.  It was a question place into one of the threads.

I asked a similar question, worded differently, and got an answer in a few hours.  I've asked several questions and every one was answered with in 24 hours.   It's much better than calling where you'll wait on hold to get the same answer.  In the future,  send a PM, don't post on the public page and they will get back to you.

I'm not going to throw stones at RC's Facebook page as I've only used it once.  To be honest, it took over a week to get an answer and it didn't exactly hit a bullseye with the answer.  Seemed more like a caned answer to me.  I really didn't get an answer to my question.  So, I haven't been back.

You sent a PM and it took a week?  I can see getting general answers depending on your questions, but I've found they respond immediately or in a short period of time and get the same answers or better than waiting on hold.

Unknown what may have caused this delay…if it was just passengers arriving outside their assigned time, or a combination of issues.
I have seen huge backups at boarding due to the ship having to leave the pier for awhile to allow a late-arriving container ship to pass; or embarkation being delayed due to a surprise onboard inspection by US Health authorities; or a surprise safety inspection by the Coast Guard; or port computer malfunctions preventing check ins. Each of the things resulted in a domino effect causing long lines and delays.
Maybe someone who was there can elaborate…

The video I saw was pretty clear.  The problem was thousands of passengers waiting extensively in the heat to have docs checked at the door.  Only 4 employees to check thousands of passengers docs.   Having gone through this there's a lot you have to show even if you have it out..Passports,  negative tests, and vaccine cards.  That's a lot to check for each passenger.

  4. Which terminal were you at?  I'm speaking only of Harmony of the Seas.  That ship is taking 5000 passengers min. and everyone has to show multiple docs before they can enter the building.  I went on two RCL cruises in the past few months on Navigator..much smaller ship way fewer people,  same docs required.   Zero lines outside, practically walked right through and onto the ship both times.   The lines at Harmony were because there were only 4 people standing at the door checking thousands of passengers documents.  That's not OK.
