Also, does anyone know what the policy is as far as who can use the casita once you’ve rented it for the day? For example, we are a family of 5–2 adults, a tween and 2 teens. If we rent one, can my husband and I use it in the morning and then let my daughter and son use it while we’re at lunch?

Anyone have experience renting these? We're on Oasis for a 3 night April 7th. It says FCFS, time on reservation says 9 am. Wondering if anyone has experience with how early I need to show up to pick our casita?
Anyone have tips on best spots that may be hidden or missed by a first time Casita renter?
I love the idea of having a spot on deck secured, even if they used to be free 🙂

Whether or not anyone else does it, I still dress to the 9s for at least one formal night ( and yes there were 2 on my 8-night Odyssey sailing in Sept). I don't go to super formal places on land...ever...and have at several formal gowns between weddings and prom and "ooh I gotta have that" shopping trips that it works out well enough to take one on. Plus, sweeping through the promenade or down the glass stairs in a flowing gown is as close to feeling like a princess as I think I'll be getting. Lol

We had 9 for our NYE cruise on Oasis and they made us get 2 tables, saying a maximum of 8 was allowed at this time. However, they did give us 2 rectangular tables next to each other, that miraculously moved closer together each evening. The maitre d’ was helpful on embarkation day making sure this was set up the way we needed.

Tables right now seem to be limited to the number of guests in your traveling party.
As a party of two, we had out own table. Not far from us was a party of about 10 at a large round table that were traveling together.
You should have no trouble having the square/rectangular tables connected for a group of 12.

When we traveled with 12 people we had 2 tables of 6 next to each other. Worked out well, and we rotated seats to be able to visit better with people.
