Brilliance Christmas Cruise was, by my best guess, 60 percent. The only cluster “@&& was the “scheduled boarding” and the 7pm my time dining seating. That seemed to catch the MDR off guard every night. Other than that no lines or waiting of any substance. Always a pool deck seat, always bar seating, zero wait in Windjammer, ample seats in the Pacifica Theater for all shows. Smooth and quick debarkation and reboarding at all ports. Honestly our best cruise of ten vis a vis crowds and lines.

Who's the pub singer?
Jimmy Blakemore was on the Christmas Cruise. Incredible singalongs. Our favorite end to every night.

Brilliance sounds like a great smaller ship.
This was our fourth trip on her. Just perfect for our style.

Just disembarked in Tampa. Answered the questionnaire on the app the day before sailing, showed our vaccine cards and test results (print them out! Folks messing with dubious internet and trying to pull it up on phones really gummed up the works) and all was well. No temp check at the pier. Pretty elaborate clinic set up for the kids.

Does the Windjammer have an outdoor eating area? Yes it does with a spectacular view off the stern
How was the solarium, was there enough room for everyone or did it get super crowded? Solarium was never crowded and everything arranged to prevent crowding
Did you see the gym....did they have plenty of equipment and space? Partner used the gym three days and said sanitizing was meticulous and plenty of open machines well spaced
Does the ship have a sports court and a movie theater? Yes on both counts, both however smaller than the mega ships but both perfectaly up to the task (how I would describe everything on Brilliance)
Did you go to the casino, did they have smoke free sections? If they did, was it still smoky? Casino was 100 percent smoke free….a godsend in my opinion. Not a whiff of smoke Will be so sad to see this go back.
What type of cabin did you stay in, and which part of the ship was it located? 9092 balcony cabin dead on midship, first cabin off the Centrum Quiet comfey and so convenient
Did most of the games/trivia take place in the Centrum? How did that work with COVID/social distancing? All games were in the Theater or the Colony Club (ships secondary stage) for spacing. Lots of poolside trivia.
Enjoy Greece! It is definitely on our list and I believe she may just be coming out of dry dock.

We are just off the Brilliance Christmas Cruise with two spectacular stops in Cozumel and Costa Maya. Both ports are wide open and eager for your business!!
Not a whisper of infection through the whole cruise great mask compliance and a first class job by officers and crew.

We (2) did Costa Maya on the Brillance 12/27/21. Took a cab from the port to the Malecon in Mahaul for $4 (100 pesos) walked the Malecon and settled at the Krazy Lobster beach club. Total bill for the day with a great lunch and ample drinks was $65 and that covered our chairs, hammocks, good snorkeling and kayaks. Another $4 to get home. Have to say it was better than any organized excursion we have ever attended in Costa Maya.
