I sailed there last January out of San Juan. Did you check those sailings?

They don't have any on the schedule.

Seeing that Aruba and Curacao are 8 night cruises if Royal were to do a Trinidad and Tobago would that potentially be a 10 night cruise out of Florida seeing how far south the island is?

I remember a few years ago on Anthem on one of our winter cruises we made it all the way down to Grenada but that was a 13 night cruise out of New York.  It was such an amazing cruise to be able to start in the US and visit islands like Martinique, Barbados and Grenada and there were other islands Anthem stop at on that 13 night cruise but I was shock at how far south we went and it was really the main reason I booked that particular cruise because we were going to islands not normally visited on a normal 7 night cruise leaving from the US mainland.

I know Oasis Class ships are limited as to the ports they can visit but a cruise like that on an Oasis Class ship I would book it in a heartbeat without thinking twice.

We just did Panama from Tampa on a nine night. and last year did Grenada out of Miami on a 9 night

Distance. It's sufficiently far from US homeports that it takes longer than a week to get to, so that limits the appeal/market for US cruises that prefer 7 night sailings (or shorter)

Thank you. I've been trying to get to there. We have been liking the 9 night ones lately.

  3. Last time royal cancelled all of empresses itinerary and put a new Cuba one up. Then if I remember right royal promised to build them a new pier and port facility by a certain time frame and of course royal didn't die to the reimplemented sanctions. So Cuba sued royal for not fulfilling it.

I don't think any cruise lines will invest there due to the fact the sanctions could be reinstated that fast.

Maybe small ships with heavy prices will jump on the opportunity while it's there.

  4. Biden lift the trump sanctions. But will trump just reinstate them?

I'm doubting we will return to cruising but I know those cruises were very sought after. And I am away of the fiasco lawsuits from and to Cuba after last time.

    Thought.

Menus are pretty much always available. They don’t really change cruise to cruise. Reservations should have been available long ago. Are you positive you didn’t accidentally select a standard dining slot? I’ve always been able to make my time reservations several months in advance. If it’s not available by now, you will probably have to make them on board as your CP will be locked down in a few days
