After that I wanted to drop by the casino just for a little while.  Normally we spend a good bit of time down there but since we paid for the upgrade to the room and we have a good many more cruises coming up in the next year we decided we weren’t going to play this trip.  Buuuuut we decided maybe just a few hands of Ultimate Texas Hold Em would be fun.  Since we were being super conservative we only had the minimum bid down and I didn’t even bring my phone down since we were not staying long…well what do you know.  I hit the Royal Flush on the second hand of play.  Doh!  Never complain about a win like that but i sure wish I had been betting my more normal amount.  Play stopped for the table while they figured all that out and we played a little more, ok we played for a couple hours.  Luckily we left with my winnings intact!  

I headed to a pirate themed meet up at the Ale and Compass bar that was organized on Facebook and met a few new folks.  After that it was back to the room for some wine and to get ready for formal night.  Well at least shower up and put on clean clothes.

We hit Boleros for our pre-dinner cocktail and to listen once again to the acoustic guitar player who must be getting tired of playing for just us and the bar staff?

We'll be on the Odyssey in a few weeks with my two kids (4.5 and 2). My 2 year old will turn 3 the day after the cruise ends. She's fully potty trained and does just about everything her older sister does. Do you think AO would allow her to join in the 3-5year old group so she could be with her sister?

Anyone have experience with this? This is the first cruise where my kids are old enough for AO, so I'm really excited to let them try it out!

We are booked on an 8night sailing on Enchantment in a Grand Suite November 2022. It'll be our first (and probably only) time sailing in a GS, but it was just too cheap to pass up to get the double points! Expectations are low for us - we're just looking for some time away, good food, and nice weather. 

Looking forward to following along! We'll be cruising a few weeks after you with our 2 girls (4.5 and almost 3), as well as a whole bunch of grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Just came off the 6night Odyssey cruise, & yes the app was a little mixed up a few weeks back. but the lobster tail was on the menu day 5 Cozumel day. My DH and I both did the turf and surf (beef tenderloin and lobster tail) we did get a second tail. I saw a few others getting a second one. Its a little hard to see what others are getting (tables with people at them are a far away, {social distancing}) I think I saw 1 person getting a 3rd. The beef tenderloin was very good and the 2nd tail tasted better then the 1st one.

Someone from Royal IT must be reading these boards. I just looked at the MDR menu in the app again this morning for our October 17 Odyssey sailing and the menu has been updated. No idea if it's 100% accurate, but at least it shows Lobster night on Day 5 (Cozumel day), and even though it still shows a Day 7, it does not have a full menu (just the kids menu and wine list). My husband will be very pleased and I can see him counting out how many lobster tails he's going to order.....

I can't speak to post-Covid status, but when I last sailed in Oct 2019, dog house condiments were still in individual packets so I assume that hasn't changed.

I have not been on a ship with El Loco Fresh yet.

I am seeing the same thing for my 6 night Odyssey sailing in October. The app shows MDR lobster tail night on Night 7...... How am I supposed to plan our dining schedule when I can't figure out when lobster night is!?!

@Mattwhen you were on your 6 night Odyssey cruise the other week, do you remember which night was lobster night in the MDR? I don't think I noticed you ate there from your blogs, but maybe you noted when 2nd formal night was?
