  1. Where does the ship moore at Halifax?
  2. We've been on Odyssey two weeks ago and they had the first showing times per reservation, and the later ones (4th and 5th day) on a first come basis. But don't worry, if you check the app after boarding, there shouldn't be a problem. Showgirl is a must see!
  3. Here are some inputs about cities we've been: - Mallorca/Palma: A must see! Walk leisurely through the City of Palma, spend some time shopping (they have all major european brands and small island style shops there), have a lunch at Bar Café Coto. You can use the bus for low price to get around. Check out St. Catalina, the market hall and all the spots the city has to offer. No need to roam outside Palma! - Rome: As said, at least 1h travel time to the city with train. But worth it! Pick some spots to visit, choose of the overpriced tourist trap cafés and feel some italian spirit - Naples: We did not leave the ship. Ugh. Polluted air, congestions everywhere. Trips to capri pricey. Carotthat
  4. Looking for an alaska cruise also next year - I am truly confused of all the itineries. Which one would you suggest for a first-alaska-timer? Carotthat
  5. Arrival on the day before is strongly recommended! Our luggage with LH was lost on connection and we could pick it up 11 hours later. Imagine this with an imminent cruise......
  6. It was like you said: took Ted/green bus from train station to terminal (3€), gave luggage to crew, several checks and questions. We were on the ship 1 hour after arrival of the train in civitavecchia Impressive organisation!
  7. ...saying, the Terminal is close to the ship - the Rome Cruise Terminal I was wondering whether to check in at the terminal and then take another shuttle bus to the ship....
  8. Hello @FionaMG, just asking about the procedure at the port Civitavecchia: Did your shared shuttle drop you off at the RCT to check in? And then you took the free shuttle bus to dock 12 (or another one)? Thanks, Carotthat
  9. This confused me also some time ago - Patty resolved it by pointing my eye directly to the page Let my copy that for you: Unvaccinated kids age 2 to 11 must show a negative test result for a PCR or antigen test taken no more than 1 day before boarding day.
  10. What should a religious exemption be? This is getting completely weird. Can I have a religious exemption not for stopping at a red light?
  11. You'll find at least enough information about the port (and the trains going there) here: https://civitavecchia.portmobility.it/en/port-civitavecchia-guide-cruise-passengers
  12. The whole "sale" is a scam - compared to last november, prices have gone up skyhigh. But who wonders, as the cruise industry is struggling....
  13. ...always supposing they have their own C&A number?
  14. Yes, there must be some glitch in either communication. The webpage infos are much more easier to accomplish. Are the online informations, on the webpage, the relevant ones? Because: On the blog, there's this statement Unvaccinated kids age 2 to 11 must show a negative test result for a PCR test (not antigen) taken no more than 3 days before boarding day. This test cannot be taken on boarding day for unvaccinated kids.
  15. We are on Oddissey in two weeks time, with two unvaccinated kids (3 and 10y old). Till yesterday, all looked fine with this requirement: All Guests: Required Pre-Cruise Testing All guests sailing from Italy will need to take a test before boarding, as detailed below. Tests must be supervised with the result provided on a certificate which includes the guest’s name and date of birth. Telehealth tests are accepted, but must be completed with a supervised video visit. All tests are at the guests’ expense. Vaccinated guests who are up to date must bring a negative result for a PCR or antigen test taken no more than 2 days before boarding day. Vaccinated guests who are not up to date will have a 1 day window to take this test. Kids age 11 or younger who are vaccinated and up to date may present proof of full vaccination and follow this testing protocol. For detailed information on Europe’s requirements for an up to date vaccination status, visit our Vaccine Requirements FAQ. Unvaccinated kids age 2 to 11 must show a negative result for a PCR or antigen test taken no more than 1 day before boarding day. Yesterday, I got an email reminder saying the kids need to have an PCR-Test not older than 72h prior to departure. No more antigen test accepted. Did they not yet update the webpage? Caro
  16. If the minor has not his own C&A number, is it possible to see his/her own sailings under the "fake" number of the parent?
  17. Does RCL do mandatory tests during the cruise or only mandatory for kids embarking?
  18. Additionally, the minors have the same C&A number as you until they become 18 (as the level from the parent).
  19. Not to forget, Paxlovid is especially recommended in ambulatory setting. For hospitalized patients, there are various more options, depending on the status. @JeffBwas the person vaccinated - if so, a mild course could have been anticipated by the ships' medical staff...
