  1. I would just keep them around the house in case you or someone you know needs to take a test for any reason.
  2. Subject lines with just ship names give me the heebie jeebies, as if something bad happened on board
  3. I just had cards for a party of 3 approved in only a couple hours.
  4. Cozumel is picky, but I can't think of another port where I've seen any kind of food checks.
  5. If your under-12 isn't vaccinated yet, there's a link that says "my child isn't yet vaccinated" but I don't know what that does. Maybe it just removes the vax upload section.
  6. With the slow process of de-emphasizing formal nights, I wouldn't be surprised to see that not come back
  7. They're allowed. Vaccinated guests must show a negative result for a PCR or antigen test taken no more than 2 days before boarding day. Kids age 5 to 11 who have been vaccinated may present proof of full vaccination and follow the testing protocols for vaccinated guests.
  8. You may have already had it and never knew it.
  9. "Pre-pre-cruise" tests.
  10. It's worth noting these tests are only good for 6 months and have no extension period like the Abbott ones do
  11. The vaccines, at this point in the game, protect you from severe covid cases. While that is obviously valuable and important to the individual, it's pretty useless when applied to a group since vaccinated and unvaccinated alike can get and spread covid. At this stage of the game, you could drop all testing, masking and vaccine requirements and things wouldn't be any worse off on a ship. Europe is going in that direction quickly
  12. True. Several other of the protocols don't stop people from getting covid either.
  13. Scandinavian countries also lifted most restrictions. Now Israel is as well.
  14. I'd happily trade booster for eliminating the headache of pre-cruise testing though.
  15. I sure would hope you wouldn't be bored on Oasis or any RC ship
  16. I don't think many would say "ditch all protocols" but I think many want realistic protocols that match the current state of things. Most protocols (other than vaccine requirements) developed by CLIA and CDC are from summer 2020.
  17. Basically the same as they have been. Pretty disappointing, but not surprising I guess. I just hope this doesn't mean Adventure Ocean protocols will remain stuck in March 2020
  18. You can see in the app what the checkin date is
  19. No but they did take advantage of the Launch with Confidence program
  20. Only 25 minutes from LAX to the port? That sounds like record time
  21. Food consistency varies by ship, by home port location, by time of year and by chef.
  22. I'm not sure it is inevitable. Especially with different countries having widely varying guidance on who should (and who shouldn't) get boosters, especially among kids and young adults.
  23. https://www.clickorlando.com/news/local/2022/01/31/coast-guard-starts-investigation-of-royal-caribbean-ship-that-caused-spacex-scrub/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=snd&utm_content=wkmg6&fbclid=IwAR2XVEnWBD3UelQGJOrCzpWBf2ermEtU10GQLhDxAvdGxfZ3D7-oNBS0E3I Sure seems like SpaceX and sailing vessels are going to have some words. "We're going to launch more, so you ships are going to have to follow our rules more" doesn't sound like something that'll go over well
