  1. On our most recent cruise my son just didn't find anything on the menu he liked, so he decided on mac and cheese. We asked the waiter if it was the good kind or the kind where they melt a Kraft single on some naked pasta and he laughed, ensuring us it was the good kind.
  2. I just got an app notification that I got a new badge and that my C&A points were credited for a recent cruise.
  3. Same. Still reasonably priced though, but it is good to weigh the cost of the individual trips vs. the annual, while remembering the annual covers any trip. I have an annual policy for cruising, but made a claim last year for the crowdstrike fiasco when I was traveling for other reasons.
  4. They can save money, but you have to be sure you read what your coverages are for cancellation/interruption, which can be per-policy and not per-trip
  5. Don't sweat it. Even if you don't fill it out, they would just ask you those two questions at the port.
  6. The point is when someone goes overboard, it's not due to some blatant design or safety problem with the ship. But that's often how it's framed when someone does go overboard, for whatever the reason.
  7. There are 3 ways to go overboard: 1) Due to intentional acts 2) Due to criminal acts 3) Due to negligent acts
  8. That issue was negligence on the part of the parents.
  9. You can buy a policy at any time. Just some things (specifically pre-existing condition coverage) may not be included if you don't buy it soon after you book a cruise
  10. The app will tell you when it's available to fill out. And it's kind of a useless thing now as it just asks if you're 23+ weeks pregnant or if you have any symptom of anything in the last 24 hours, to which probably most people do since we're all human.
  11. The color helps in sorting, but the tags don't need to be in color.
  12. Maybe it was Karaoke?
  13. Seabourn's seems to be to get more people to cruise where as Carnival was trying to thin out their upper tiers.
  14. Seabourn is changing theirs, but not to mirror Carnival's https://cruiseoverload.com/seabourns-new-loyalty-program-is-better-than-ever/
  15. The one device package is more expensive since it's a convenience to have a dedicated connection for a device.
  16. That is the cruise ship day pass, not the land-based international day pass? I'd just get Voom if you need internet for a day.
  17. OK then that's just strange.
  18. But this is referring to the typical marketing emails RC sends about your cruise, not when you make a change to your reservation.
  19. What does the remaining balance show when you view your reservation directly on the RC website? https://www.royalcaribbean.com/reservation/dashboard
  20. I've never gotten an email with an invoice attached, other than upon initially booking.
  21. RC rather quietly changed the main promo from OBC to savings last fall.
  22. Yes, just think of it as a typical style all inclusive day pass.
  23. The Beach Club should just be looked at as an independent excursion, not an extension of the ship like Coco Cay.
  24. RC has really been ramping up "for new cruises only" enforcement the last few months.
