We went out of Vancouver. Seattle? So you're sailing on Rhapsody then? You'll have a blast. She was JUST revitalized!
Yes, we will be sailing in and out of Seattle. I live about 2 hours from Seattle and 2 hours from Vancouver, so I can go either way. We wouldn't have to deal with the border if we go out of Seattle. I have done the Alaska cruise twice (once on Holland America and once on Princess). I am looking forward to another Royal Caribbean ship.

We just got back from the Eastern Caribbean cruise (Freedom of the Seas) on Sept. 1st. We had a really good time. The passengers and crew were very friendly, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. We had an ocean view room on the 3rd flood, which had a huge window (the biggest window). Fantastic!!

Just returned from Radiance of the Seas trip in Alaska. Check out my review in "Cruise Reviews" tab of this blog.
What port did you go out of? My husband and I are going to Alaska next summer out of Seattle.

We opt for late seating also. This time (we just got home yesterday) our table-mates ordered two starters and sometimes two entrees. We had the best waiter, and he didn't mind accommodating us at all.

We fly into Orlando 6:14am, and just found out transfer don't start until 10:30am. Going to be a long morning

My hubby, who is a retired aircraft mechanic for the Navy, keeps reminding me its hurricane season. He does this not to scare me though. He wants to feel the boat rock and see the waves crash. I told him ok, but no hurricane when we're in port. I want to enjoy my excursions without worrying about being blown away. :-)

Thank you DarkCabbie and your wife. The secret to our success is going on another cruise (hubby is retired Navy). ;-)

I can honestly say I have seen celebrities on a previous cruise. It was a chartered cruise on the Holland America. We got to see Jimmy Dean, and he sang his famous song "Big Ben." He looks the same as he did on his commercials except he was old.interestingly enough his wife wasn't old, she was quite young.

Thank you, I learned something new today!
No problem. Here's the Crown and Anchor member benefits page. http://www.royalcaribbean.com/cas/benefitsLoggedout.do

I don't want to spend anymore than I have to, so as long as I'm there on time, I'm good

We do? I thought only suite guests get that perk
Crown and Anchor members get priority boarding

You must be a better sleeper than me. Anytime I plan on sleeping on the plane, it never works out. Plus pre-cruise excitement? Forget about it! :D
I never said it would be a restful sleep :D

We are arriving the day of the cruise. Flying all night and arriving at 6:30am. Glad I will. Be sleeping on the plane

I have booked my cruises through Travel websites and Royal Caribbean. I look for good deals. The deals that come with onboard credits. I have never booked a vacation with a TA, Can you get better deals, or it is just less hassle?

Hi again, I'm Joy. My husband and I live in Washington. Cruising is one of my favorite vacations. In August I will be going on my 4th cruise, and my husbands 3rd. So far, i have been to Alaska twice, Mexico one and in August we will take a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. We enjoy meeting new people and seeing new places.

My husband and I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary on the Freedom August 25-Sept. 1st. This will be my fourth cruise, third with my hubby and first time cruising by ourselves.

Yeah, I agree Matt. It cost me $900s to fly to there when we took our Freedom cruise. Now if there was a cruise deal in Seattle. I'd be there
