If both offers are in your name you cannot use them on the same sailing if you have a trade in value and the cruise was booked under someone else’s offer you can have your trade in value applied if you are upgrading the room and maybe towards Port fees and taxes. I’ve only done this once. Cruise booked under a comp of mine and hubby has a$ value trade in he applied to my sailing and it was used to pay his port fees and taxes and part of the upgrade portion. The remainder of the upgrade portion was paid on a credit card

Yes, but honestly don’t know if it was a fluke or not. I had a cruise booked for 2 from November, $200 next cruise deposited on it . I was primary with a casino trade in on the cruise. My friend was able to apply her prime cruise, we upgraded our cabin and they used the $200 deposit towards the upgrade, we paid the balance due of port fees/taxes and the remainder of the upgrade fee. I fully expected they were going to keep the deposit and maybe even cancel the reservation so we’d have to start all over. I was super surprised we kept the $$ and the reservation #.

Check your accounts-some people are reporting their tier cruise showed up super early
-
Her time would have been Friday. We had a super nice agent that did not hesitate-one caveat-we were applying her prime to an existing reservation. It really can’t hurt to ask.

I had a voyage comp booked and a paid for cruise on voyager for the second week. I keep my fingers crossed my signature cruise could be applied but alas it was on the excluded list. Thankfully my traveling companion is prime and she was able to apply her prime tier cruise to our 2nd cruise. Bonus is we were able to keep our reservation number and as a result all of the items we had already booked at lower pricing were saved! I agree-I don’t want to fly over for just one week.

You might inquire when booking your cert if you could also book your brothers. I was able to add my friend to the call and get her annual prime booked when I was done with my husband’s prime cruise. (Hubby was present during booking) The agent just needed to confirm with My friend what she was using her annual for. Of course as with anything Royal, your experience may be different.

Deposits applied to port fees and taxes are essentially refunded when you cancel a cruise where the deposit was used towards port fees and taxes as all port fees and taxes get refunded. the only thing I’m not sure of is the BOGO situation.

June 1 however, I’d be checking on a regular basis as sometimes that “1st day of the month before your sailing” isn’t accurate. If you belong to the Facebook group for your sailing you might see people excitedly post when they have successfully booked their entertainment. That’s a good clue that entertainment is open to book! Also, not all ships have entertainment that requires making reservations.

I agree to look at the ports of call hours (it’s in your booking confirmation towards the end and possibly in the app under the itinerary button if you press “more” on the bottom of the app home page) and look at your excursion hours. Royal is pretty good about changing your bookings for meals when you get onboard. . I don’t think many people book the dining because the excursions cost so much (clearly my opinion) so changes and availability should be fairly easy.,

Yes-on some ships. Please share which ship you are inquiring about

You could be the guinea pig and report back!

As ampur said. If you get 2 free days as Diamond plus the prime discount of 30% off is better off than buying pre cruise. If you only get 1 free day and use the 30% off onboard it is not a better price than the cruise planner. Long story short-pre purchasing is cheaper…unless you are also Diamond plus

I saw the dining packages were on sale so decided to check my sailings for other dining related sales. chefs table has been on sale for $85 for the longest time. It’s now on sale for $70. Other restaurants are also on sale, so check your cruise planners!
-
Sadly chefs table has gone from nightly to twice per nice. I’m sure that is Royal trying to get more $. It’s been on sale for $85 for the longest time. Came here to say it’s currently on sale for $70 for all my sailings-Canada, Bermuda, Bahamas, Mediterranean…. what sucks is that at twice per night it will no longer be leisurely. There is 2.5 hours between the first seating and the second seating. I recall my first ever chefs table lasted 4+ hours and my girlfriend commented it was unusually long as they are typically 3+ hours. With this price I booked a bunch with my first being my May 10 sailing with 2 friends-one who has never tried CT. If they’ve changed it up you know I’ll be reporting back.

Oh boy. I hope it works out. after the BF fiascos with double refunds etc I will never use my OBC, let alone a gift card for a planner purchase. It’s so difficult to track refunds as it is. (Money refunded to a friend who never paid for anything, me getting a refund for something she had purchased, partial cash refund due to partial OBC used and trying to figure all that out)No thanks!

oops, compass wouldn’t have the menus!
-
We will pretty much be the Guinea pigs for May as the first sailing out of Cape Liberty will be a 8 night beginning May 1. Unless we can find the menus from the 4 night/5 night last year I doubt there is a way to get accurate answers for the 4 night Canada and 5 night Bermuda. I’ll poke around. btw-there are some great sales in the dining on those sailings. Chefs table is at $70!!
-
You’d be surprised at how some of those dealers track that anyway.

Looks like corkage fees may be enforced

$25!!! Plus a gratuity! Why even bother bringing a bottle? That’s nuts! -
That’s a missed port-an automatic refund of any extras related to the port. I was at CoCocay once and it just rained all day. No refunds.

I was in Halifax June 11 last year. It was chilly when we got off the ship at about 10am. I’m “never cold” and had put on a sweater and long pants. Within 1-1/2 hrs I was dying because the sun had broke through. I’ve been there in May or June the past few years and it was comfortable-for me, with just at T-shirt and pants. Personally I pack a light sweater and a windbreaker and an umbrella and I put them into a shoulder bag so I have them if I need them.
-
I’ve crossed on Symphony, Anthem and Explorer, so nothing within your category. As with any sailing-it will depend on the weather. Best to pack what you need-I like to bring ginger chews (or candy), and I have Meclizine (which the y give free onboard, and if the ship has green apples that can help. Also drink a dark n stormy those help, or perhaps Gingerale.

Beach day @ Coco Cay and Labadee - What to bring from home
Pattycruise replied to SEVI's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I’ve never seen that in not sure the beach front has a large enough area for play, I feel the loungers are fairly close to water-ball’s hot astray may hit people. Could be my depth perception though
