Booked two RCI cruises recently, Anthem on Nov-20 and Odyssey on Apr-21. Discovered that the prepaid gratuities on each of these cruises was quite a bit more expensive than paying onboard. Needless to say, we will pay onboard. We are from the UK, may be different in USA.

It may come to that as CAS numbers continue to grow and grow.  The diamond lounge might have to stop serving drinks all together and everyone uses their seapass 'coupons'.   

I think that RCI should allow the 3 free drinks to be any drink up to a pre-determined value, say $12, and not just those on the “Diamond” list. That might encourage drinkers to go to other bars on the ship and not jam up the Diamond and Concierge Lounges where the drinks choice is quite limited.

Yes, I think RCCL have created a monster that they cannot feed. The number Diamond and Diamond Plus members is increasing dramatically every year. I think RCCL should introduce a new Crown & Anchor loyalty level at, say, 350 points. Access to the Concierge lounge could be awarded from that level. By the way, I am Diamond Plus with 262 points so I am not suggesting this to benefit myself, but merely suggesting the change as way to address the problem of the overcrowded lounges. The Diamond lounge could then be restricted to Diamond Plus members with less than 350 points. Diamond members would receive the normal 3 free drinks on their sea pass each night.

Yes, we also take drinks out of the concierge lounge when we go for dinner. No problem, as others have said, the servers are happy to do this for you.

Booked on back to back cruises on Jewel of the Seas 16th March (7 nights gulf ports) and 23rd March (16 nights Dubai to Rome). Just received a letter from RCI today via my travel agent saying that RCI are monitoring the area and will be issuing a formal statement regarding any changes to the itenary on Friday 24th January 2020 if not before that date.
I will post an update on the situation as soon as II hear from RCI.
