This ^^^^^^ and in my case it seems worse because Reyd is an only child and I can’t imagine a vacation without him. Our TA refers to Reyd as Land Genie #2. Lol. He shares my love of travel, cruising in particular. Lindsay not so much.

True, I still shake my head that WestJet maintains the same menu for the entire month. The least they could do is have several rotating menus on a weekly basis or more options on their monthly menu. So annoying. But they are the only carrier that flies direct from YYC to FLL and MCO so it is what it is. I value direct flights more than their in flight meal offerings I guess. Lol I can’t wait to see the pics of your breaky!

This is our 4th cruise over Christmas and the unlimited and 3 day packages have always been released at the same time as other dining offerings and many months earlier. Who knows what’s going on with these holiday cruises.

Yes it is most definitely linked to your sea pass card so only you will be able to use it. Usually we were required to leave our sea pass card when checking in at the spa. You retrieve it after your treatment. Harmony was the exception; not sure if it was because we had wow bands but I am almost certain we didn’t leave anything at the spa reception. Regardless of their process, only you will be able to use the thermal suite. Perhaps a day pass may be a perfect solution for your wife.

Update: 171 days out and still no unlimited or 3 day dining packages, however individual restaurants are now available to book so maybe we are getting close.

@Neesa I really enjoyed following along. I just now finished reading your last few days onboard. As others have already noted, an accurate experience is always welcome. I am sorry there were areas that fell short for you but you handled them and didn’t let them consume your week. Hoping it was an off week and @Lovetocruise2002 has a great week.

Your first star class cruise will be so memorable! Additional purchases are limited given star class perks but could include photo packages, thermal suite, massage, mani/pedi. Your genie will take care of scheduling dining and entertainment. Wishing you a great trip!

It sounds like your cruise planner is showing some dining so as @Ampurp85 said, it’s possible the UDP is sold out. In my case there are no dining options available. See screen shot of my scurries planner.

Hey everyone, we cruise this December and typically dining plans are available by now but for some reason they have not been released on Harmony whereas they have been released on our 14 night Med cruise on Anthem summer 2024. We are star class but our friends cruising with us are anxious to book the unlimited dining plan. Any ideas or similar experiences??

Would have to agree with you on that. We really missed Portside BBQ and Playmakers when we sailed Harmony. Oasis has a great genie team; it ranked as one of our best star class experiences. Glad you enjoyed your week.

Yup, I just checked cruise planner and prices have gone up to $319.99 on HM too. Nuts!! As someone who always pays for the photo package this annoys me. I have gradually become a bit disappointed with the lack of creativity with poses especially the evening photos. I am considering booking a session with flytographer for a private land photo session pre cruise but these prices will definitely cause me to rethink my onboard pictures too.

I finally heard from Private Journey and they recommended Paradise Beach as it has the wave runners, parasailing and other water activities our group is interested in. Plus full menu/beverages are included and daybeds are available for rent. The quote from Private Journeys was nuts, way more than I expected. And when I mean way more, I mean $1800 more. So we ended up booking it ourselves and saved $$. We booked 4 of the ocean front day beds so at least we have a space to call our own that offers shade. The reviews seem consistently good and the resort was quick to reply to questions so I hope it turns out to be a great day.

We have booked the Tremont House, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Galveston for our upcoming cruise. It has been recently renovated and is now part of the Bonvoy Marriott program. Reviews since the renovation are good.

There was popcorn on Harmony Christmas 2022. We had it delivered to our suite 2 or 3 nights so I don’t know where you purchase it. Our genie mentioned that it was generally available on nights that the Aqua show runs.

It isn’t offered in my cruise planner either It isn’t offered in my cruise planner either. I have reached out to Private Journeys (about other options, not Mr Sanchos) but so far that’s been a disappointment.

This was our take away as well over Christmas and we too had a full ship with many large groups. Like you, we had a fantastic genie who did what he could to work around some of the “rules”. The restrictions can be challenging for the genies when star class guests bring their expectations and experiences from other ships that are less strict. It’s just another reason I wish the star class program was consistent fleet wide.

So annoying and petty given the limited monetary cost to this perk.

Haha Story of my life in Vegas this week. This is Hubby and Sons idea of celebrating St Patrick’s Day. They have to go during “hot donut times”. They aren’t available in Canada so it’s a real treat for them.

I love your assessment! Haha We are not adventurous eaters so it’s a hard pass but I said we would eat dessert there next cruise on HM. We had the dessert delivered to our suite last time but I think it will be better to eat in restaurant and take in the experience. The menu paint brush sounds neat. I kinda wish I had not mentioned Wonderland to my guys because it would be a hoot to take them there just for shock value. Lol

…and miss out on all those room service trays littering the hallways on decks other than 17. If you have followed my blogs you know how I feel about that. Lol
