Do they tell you if you were turned down for A Royal Up or only if you get the room? We were trying for an upgrade to the AquaTheater 2 bedroom and haven’t heard anything. I figured we wouldn’t get it, but I thought you’d get an email saying you didn’t?

Driving from Orlando to Miami today. Tomorrow we’re leaving for our first time cruising on Symphony!!!! So excited to try an Amped Oasis class ship and an Owners Suite!!!! We’ve only been on Allure and Oasis so far!!! We’re sailing with our almost 8 year old son and he’s really looking forward to trying all 5 of the slides!!!!! He also can’t wait to go back to Cococay to ride the Daredevil again! Any recommendations for things we shouldn’t miss on Symphony?

Four of us tried to do that one night on our cruise on Oasis last November and they told us they couldn’t do that because they had too many MTD people waiting for tables.

No, there’s currently no chat option in the Royal app ...... I’ve heard it’s in beta on one or 2 ships, but it’s never been on any of the ships I’ve been on.

I’ve texted people who have android phones from my iPhone’s regular messages app while connected to the ship’s Voom WiFi while in airplane mode and they responded to me over and over ..... so they apparently received my messages. Also, I’ve received phone calls and made phone calls to people with both android and iPhones from my iPhone while on the ships Voom WiFi in airplane mode with “WiFi calling” activated on my phone ........ I always keep WiFi calling turned on, even when I’m at home

Was it booked thru a travel agent? If so, I don’t believe they will let anybody other than the agent cancel the cruise. They definitely won’t let anybody other than the agent make regular changes to your reservation. If you aren’t booked thru a travel agent, if it’s been less than 60 days since you booked, and you haven’t paid in full, you can have your reservation transferred to any travel agent you choose. Everyone on here seems to recommend MEI travel.

Does anybody know what the difference is between these 2 excursions to the Chacchoben Manyyan Ruins in Costa Maya???? The second one doesn’t allow children under 8 for some reason. The second one is also 3 hr 30 min where the first is 4 hr

If you’re buying the Thrill Waterpark pass for Cococay in the cruise planner, make sure you get the TWO DAY option. When I purchased ours for Navigator next June, the 2 day was only $79.99 ........... for a 1 day, they were charging $79.99 for the first stop at cococay and $89.99 for the second stop st cococay.

I’ve always wanted to go to Chichen Itza as well and have never done the excursion when in Cozumel for the same reasons as you. Is your cruise also going to Costa Maya? We’re on Symphony this coming Saturday and will be going there. They have a 4 hour excursion to Chacchoben Mayan Ruins which are supposed to be similar. 1 hour drive each way and 2 hours at the site. We’ve booked this one for our day there. I’ve been told that this is a good compromise without the long trek required for Chichen Itza.

SETTINGS ….. CELLULAR ….. Wi-Fi CALLING ...... green on this next screen means on ......... you can actually leave WiFi calling on all the time ...... when you’re at home it just makes your phone calls clearer using your home WiFi if you’re getting a bad cellular signal in the house You do still need to have your phone in Airplane Mode while on the ship to keep from being charged roaming on the phone calls

I’d also do the villa, if you’re going to be paying the money you’re paying, why would you not want to have all the perks and space it comes with? Plus 2 points per night. Booking balcony rooms, you’ll basically have bedrooms for everyone and nothing else ........ in a villa, you’ll have bedrooms PLUS all the extra living space outside the bedrooms ............ to me it’s a no brainer and it would be FOOLISH to not get the villa with all the money you’re spending no matter what.

We’ve never done dinner in the Windjammer ........ is it better quality/taste than the stuff they serve at lunch? Sometimes we’ve thought it would be nice to go there when we don’t feel like taking 2 hours for dinner, but never followed thru.

I’m sure I’m the oddball here, but we didn’t care for Hamilton when we saw it ???

One of the better recent broadway shows I’ve seen was “Beautiful: The Carol King Story” ........ IMO it’s just as good as We Will Rock You

Since it would be past the point of refunds, there wouldn’t be any kind of adjustment........ you’d keep your same cabin ........ I’m not 100% sure you’ll get the double points ...... but like I said, I think you would as long as they were notified she was cancelling and that you’re now cruising alone in the room ........ but someone else would have to verify if I’m correct on the double points or not.

As far as levels, we’ll actually be Diamond with 83 points on Royal after our February 2020 cruise because we’ve been booking suites.

In the summer of 2021, we’d like to do b2b Greek Isles and Baltic/Russia cruises ....... our son will be 9 1/2 then .......... which cruise line would be better between RCCL and Celebrity? And why?
