  1. This happened to me too! First time I could access the entertainment ... got so excited. I refreshed the screen, and I got locked out. I cleared history, cookies, tried different browsers, then called RCI. They said I needed to log out completely. As @Matt mentioned, I was also told to try after 15 minutes.
  2. Ugh, were you able to ask why the entertainment wasn't loaded to your account? Yay!!! That's so weird. Perhaps try calling RCI? 1-800-256-6649 (24 hours/7 days)
  3. Wow, you're at 107 too!! Yay! Well, it's 106 today, but whose counting??? ME!!! Glad you got your shows booked! Oh wow, I remember it was at the 100 day mark when we sailed Oasis. It's so inconsistent ? I called RC last night because I was in my account and my computer froze and when I restarted, it locked me out of my account. The first woman I spoke to was unfortunately not in a very good mood, nor very helpful. I called back and spoke to a really nice guy! He unlocked my account, and even offered to book the reservations for me. Try and call them! 1-800-256-6649 (24 hours/7 days)
  4. Thank you! Geesh, 79 days and no access? Do you think a call to Royal Caribbean might help, just to make sure there isn't a glitch of some sort? Thank you! I saw the modify/cancel option when I booked one of the shows. It was super easy, and very different than our first sailing. I have a spreadsheet for all 7 days that was ready to input with our shows! We have plenty of time to eat at our traditional time of 5 pm, plus go to WJ for recon as per @Matt @Lovetocruise2002 @AshleyDillo and others here ? Thanks also for the well wishes, can't wait!!!
  5. It's 107 days out and I can finally access entertainment! So exciting! Does anyone know if I change my mind, is it easy to cancel and then reschedule? I waited so long and don't want to mess it up! Thanks!
  6. Hi there! Do you remember what day this was, and lunch or dinner? What flavors of ice cream do they have?
  7. I'm so glad I made you laugh because I still lol when I think of it!!!
  8. Me too!!! I personally love spreadsheets and have one for the entire cruise with different sheet names. The cruise price tracker sheet has rows with formulas, and I checked the prices daily and inputted them. It populates the difference in price from the first day I booked. It's a lot of work, and may not be for everyone, but it works for me. I just made final payment, so no more checking I've seen prices increase by $525 after I booked ?
  9. I am with you and completely understand your fear @Lovestotravel I've heard horror stories from my friends of bed bugs in their hotel room and rental car that left them scratching their skin off. We are super paranoid, but like @Lovetocruise2002 said, we try not to let it stop us from travelling. Here's a funny story for you! On our first cruise Oasis, we followed the same procedures we do for hotel rooms. We left our suitcases near the door, stripped off all the sheets and inspected the seams with a flashlight, inspected the room and headboard and even behind the pictures. We hurried up and put the bed sheets back together, and low and behold, knock knock! Our stateroom attendant came to greet us! Can you imagine? She must have thought we couldn't wait to get it on .. ?
  10. Thanks! I agree, insurance is not the place to cheap out! Thanks!
  11. Thanks Matt, I think it's a morbid topic! I purchased a good plan just now, and also made final payment on our cruise! Now just counting the days .... ? I listened to your podcast a while back and it was super helpful
  12. This is the one part of cruising that is absolutely necessary, but stressful to research! I'm reading the fine print of one quote and the medical portion covers $5 million per person, however, there are limits to return of deceased (up to $5,000). My husband's employer covers up to $3,000, so total of $8,000. How do I know what the cost would be? It would all depend on if/where this would occur. I asked the insurance provider and they could not comment. They advised me to look at the Government of Canada's website, which does not list costs. How do I determine how much is enough?
  13. That's great, thanks! I heard the temperature was either cool or super cold ? Thank you!
  14. Hello everyone! Do they still stock the mini fridges (or from what I've read, coolers) with bottled water, pop and beer (for a fee), or are they empty? (regular rooms, not suite). Thanks!
  15. Great question @bonoriffic - I was wondering the same thing. Glad it worked out for you! What an awful experience with the driver. I'm glad the desk clerk was able to intervene. I read elsewhere that the rental car agencies/shuttle drivers may have restrictions on how early you can use their shuttles. I would prefer to get to the terminal early and just wait if needed.
  16. OMG Ashley, I have been using Google flights with price alerts since August, but never noticed the price graph option! I think it's because I chose non stop flights and specific times, so the price graph disappears after I input my criteria. I just tested it with dates only and it shows flights are high now until December. This was the same pattern for our last cruise. Thanks so much!
  17. Hello there! I was wondering if there are seats available to sit inside, along with washrooms?
  18. Take motion sickness meds one day "before" embarkation, not trying to "see" if I will feel anything ... even if it was Oasis! The first few days were rough ... no pun intended!
  19. @JLMoran @Lovetocruise2002 @twangster thank you all so much for explaining how it works @Lovetocruise2002 I’ll speak with my TA and confirm
