  1. Thanks Matt & ChessE4!

19 Days to go! Really looking forward to it❣️ I thought I saw some movies ? listed in an older compass, & already got Flight & Hairspray booked for 3:30 pm! ?? That  way we can chill around dinner time.I did forget to call about CK reservations since we got the suite , but 2nd might 40th anniversary  & got Hooked booked! ❤️

That would be nice if they did an outdoor theatre like Some if he other ships do! But with the Grand Suite, we’ll prob find something in there.

    Thanks again❣️

  2. Whelp, 21 more days for our 1st Symphony of the Seas & really looking forward to it. Got the Grand Suite, know there’s “hopefully “ movies in there!  Haven’t seen any movie theaters on the ship?  Know about all the live stuff, just wanna know if there’s any actual movie ? theaters on Symphony?

    As always Thanks❣️

  3. We're going to a couple of places, one of which is Roatan , we "may" go to the port, but other than that, may just stay on the ship! From what I've heard, so many stay on the ship & relax with so much the ship has to offer. Just "My" thoughts though & you can see what others come up with also!

    Enjoy❣️

Oh Lordy!!! We go Aug 17th & as usual I put off packing til later! ?? I figured just throw some jeans, shirts for both of us, got bathing suits ready, put in a couple of long sleeves for him & a dress for the anniversary, lol.....then black pants & nice tops for nights.

Only thing I didn’t get was tie sneakers—thinking we “might “ use the gym to work off food! This is coming from the 2 people who never exercise though‼️ We just to a little walking in slip on sketchers ! ? ?

In the Grand Suite on the Harmony we were able to get a bottle (or more) of water any time the Suite Lounge was open.  They did not limit us.  The Suite Lounge is open at least 11-11.  You could get a can of soda also.  We would put extra in the refrigerator in the room.

Did ya go back to the lounge during the day though to get stuff to drink?  And just have it in your room for later. I was kinda thinking that except when so far away from the lounge or room.

    Thanks!

We get the refreshment package for the water and soda  and fresh o.j. and the specialty coffee drinks at least twice a day.  We grab waters every time we get  something. And Powerade as well. It literally pays for itself in no time especially if it is purchased on sale.   You are correct that the deluxe is not worth it. We get cocktails and wine but nowhere near enough to come to the price of the deluxe package.

Thanks! I had the refreshment Package, then deleted it, thinking since the suite lounge would offer us enough drinks , & while figured we’d have lemonade or ice tea during the day with prob a few drinks.

Shoot maybe I’ll get it just so I don’t have to worry about it!  But, do think the cruise lines count on that so they end up with more of your money! Hmnnn .....it does sound convenient though‼️

    Thanks!

Yep, It Worked!! Thanks❣️? Lol, We go in Aug….. but used to TAUCK small land tours, haven't done a cruise in soooo long!  We did Alaska, Jamaica, Tahiti & the Virgin Islands yrs ago.

I was joking with the hubby about doing the video while on there, he just growled, lol! ?I take way to many pics & videos…. but geese I gotta take them on here! Gosh, I know I've been watching all those live blogs they look so fun! But I'm not Into rock climbing or zip lining, lol….. but  ya never know! ?

If memory serves me correctly, there's probably two large Evian bottles in your room, but that's about it. You don't get unlimited bottled water with the suite.

It can be worth it, but it requires you to drink enough.

If all you really want is bottled water, keep in mind you can bring up to 12 bottles of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e. water) on the cruise. In addition, you can purchase a case of Evian water before the cruise to be delivered. Check the Cruise Planner for this option.

     Thanks Matt!

We don't really drink that much water & if it's ok in the dinning room, lol……figuring if the water in the lemonade & tea are, then guess  we'll stick with that.  And prob. won't add up to whatever we're drinking!  But, I do get where people like the convenience. That's where I'll be cheap & the hubby will say go ahead & get package! He did figure the one with alcohol would be more than we normally would drink, but I may have to get it, lol….. He keeps saying geese, we paid for the suite, think we can afford the convenience! But He's not on the blog, Hehe!!!! ?

    Thanks again,

    KimS

  9. Trying to figure out if we get water each day with the Grand Suite, also if the Refreshment package is worth it? Know the all drinking package isn’t, would have to drink a lot  of alcohol each day to be worth it. Not sure if the water comes with the suite though.  Prob nay have a few sodas a day, I’m fine with lemonade or ice tea if the waters good! Don’t wanna go to the Concierge lounge every time we want  drinks, soda, water...... ?

    Thanks ❣️

  10. Maybe a joke but did see someone had the idea in mind, so been looking into it cuz ya never know❣️?

We actually work with our stocks for a living, since Citrus greening went kerplunk back in 2007, really before Citrus was out before but Started doing stocks long term in 2007. No one would touch Apple back then & hadn’t even heard of Steve Jobs or Tim Cook‼️ so we figured we learn ourselves, Thank God!

Did actually hear they were thinking about getting an airline the other day watching CNBC, but haven’t looked enough into it. Will be soon though & will let ya’ll know!

Traveling on Harmony and have a check-in time of 2:00. Does that mean we can't get on the ship before then?

Nope, EVERYONE here is saying 10:30 or so....... can’t hurt to be early. If you’ve got a suite or purchased the Key you despise to get on 1st. Just be there early. Maybe close with whoever is leaving at your port & even same cruise! Love the info we get from the bloggers❣️??

Oh...... Just saw You got the answer from the WaaayTooo, sure helped me a lot. ?

Wanted to share that the cruise security screening is different than airport.  You should drop your checked bags, it is much easier and better for the overall process.  But if you do carry them on they probably will make it through security.  The requirement that the bag be a certain size is not really a thing for the ship.  As long as it fits in the scanner it is good to go.

Sorry for those that read this before since once I posted it on another thread.  Our family had backpacks as carry on and a regular checked bag for our last cruise.  Because we were routed incorrectly, more than once, we ended up taking our bags all the way to ship.  I thought it would be problem at security but they put them through the scanners and we kept on through the process.  Luckily we were Star Class so we’re able to just drop the bags at the room.

    Thanks ScooterScott22,

Yep, Planned on checking either 1-2 suitcase, just got a carry on that has wheels, that'll have my bathing suits, etc… will be in, just in case we get in a swim before the room, kinda doubt it though. Will check if I can find the size of the carry on bag for the ship- if too big, will just take a big purse! ?

    Thanks so much,

Yes, you can have as many as your heart desires (2nd formal evening on 7-night cruise in Caribbean)... they kept asking us on Allure back in May if we'd like more... we stopped at 4 tails, but my friend was on Harmony in April and he said someone at the next table was on their 12th?

Love the pic AND the Advise!! We do get the Coastal Kitchen, so will make sure we can get those tails! Thanks Again!

  14. Thanks to SO many of you helping me all my questions! Didn't clarify my question, so hope this helps❤️ I'm trying to edit my question on Boarding. I don't think I clarified the situation considering some of the answers I received, but always appreciate any!

First…. We are Definitely checking in our suitcases! I just have a carry on that happens to have wheels, glad I'm not the only one! It's like a underseater for planes, that's how we've been traveling for most of the 40 yrs, except for some cruises here & there. But did get tired of lugging on a carry on the plane, so got a small underseat with wheel, as a carryon. Again, Will be checking in my suitcase or suitcases for sure! Not getting the key, since we got the suite for anniversary.

I was very confused by the diff. times I was told I could embark, so going early & winging it.

Thanks so much for all the help & answers, hope I clarified my question……. may clarify on the original post. Thanks again❣️

It's true that rooms aren't ready until 1:00 pm. Show up when you want, especially if you're in a Grand Suite...bring a carry on with essentials.

If you board in the morning starting around 10:30, you can go to lunch or the pool or both.

Ideas for complimentary lunch are the Windjammer, Park Cafe, and I believe the Solarium Bistro...you can also get food at the Promenade Cafe

Chops, Jamie's are open for an extra charge.

I wouldn't sweat when you board.

Yep, gonna board as early as I can! Got confused with RCCL giving me diff times to get on, but just going to wing it…. also was concerned, with traveling on a plane a lot ,finally got the carry on with wheels, so was hoping that wouldn't be a problem…. but def. checking in 1-2 suitcases.

    Thanks again!

    Good  Morning,

If you are boarding early, how does this work if you choose to carry your luggage on rather than check baggage? I purchased the key in hopes that this would allow me to get into my state room early. This is a first time experience with royal. Carnival offered faster to the fun is the key similar?

Got confused, so may have  accidentally poIsting twice, a few are getting confused by what I had written. I'm definitely checking in my bags & happen to have a small carry on that has wheels. I'll edit my post to clarify that! I didn't purchase the key since we have a suite. Just didn't wanna have the "only" small carry on with wheels! Again, the other bags will be checked in.

    Thanks!

I've got a suite, so didn't need the key. But am definitely checking in my suitcases, lol….. just have the one carry on that has wheels. Will just wait up in the concierge lounge "If" they let u bs! I saw that the CK was also open for lunch, but will play that by ear.

    Thanks again,

  19. Thanks SO Much WAAAYTOOO!  We "used" to cruise on Princess 30-40 yrs ago, then when they started going down, switched to small Globus tours , then TAUCK small group tours, so used to flying now but after 40 yrs just now trying this Royal Caribbean! But, geese those small TAUCK tours are incredible but do cost like half a car!!! LOL ?

So, now I just got this carry on that's got wheels, got tired of being the only one on the plane carrying my carry on! Everyone's got these small ones with wheels, do ya think I'm gonna stand out like a sore thumb!?? Seriously, so used to flying every year, then fly up to NC-- just as great as Europe IMO, but still love my carry on with wheels now! ?

I so appreciate the 17th floor idea! .So glad to hear about that Terminal A, thanks again for all your answers! ❤️
