  1. I successfully filled out the ArriveCAN for the May 13-19 Ovation of the Seas cruise on the mobile app and also received email confirmation. I also did an unofficial COVID test today (May 10th) before the official proctored COVID test tomorrow (May 11th). NEGATIVE!
  2. Checking the Ovation of the Seas current 8 night cruise calendar of events the ships time changes twice: Day 2 at 2:00 am the ships clocks are set back one hour to Alaska Daylight Time Day 7 at 2:00 am the ships clocks are set ahead one hour to Pacific Daylight Time
  3. As Twangster stated once a ship enters within the 12 mile Canadian territorial waters the crew and passengers are subject to Canadian laws. Especially when that same ship is tied up to the cruise ship terminal at Victoria.
  4. The 30 days are business days which means the refund could show up as late as June 7th.
  5. How many Key guest would there be on the Quantum class ships?
  6. This was the reply email when I completed the special needs form:
  7. What special pricing is available on a Royal Caribbean cruise?
  8. Me neither which is why I keep checking and boarding times opened up over an hour ago. The earliest available time was 11:30 am.
  9. I called this morning about when to expect boarding times to be available and after the CSR checked I was told 30 days out from the cruise that it would be available.
  10. That was not my experience today while trying to do an online check in although Royal IT might have had a hand in my problems. I live in the Central Time Zone and my cruise is leaving from the Pacific Time Zone and March 29th is my 45th day out from my cruise. March 28th 11:03 pm CDT online check in was NOT available. March 29th 12:07 am CDT online check in was NOT available. March 29th 1:22 am CDT online check in was NOT available March 29th 3:20 am CDT online check in WAS available Using the Royal app required taking photos of passports so I logged into my account on Chrome and just had to enter the passport expiration date and number and uploaded copies of our vaccine cards. Unfortunately at no time up to now am I able to select a boarding time.
  11. At least a little progress. I can enter our Travel Information and uploaded our vaccination documents but unable to get a boarding time. The message displayed is:
  12. Unless you had a beer day after 45 days at sea.
  13. I went to the RCL website and checked the price for the same hotel already booked: PRICELINE: Total Price $175.20 USD EXISTING RESERVATION: Total price $232.92 USD Difference: $57.72
  14. March 28th is my check in date but what time does check in actually start and in what time zone? I am on Central Time but ship is leaving from Pacific Time while Royal Caribbean Headquarters are on Eastern Time. Thanks.
  15. That two-timer! Ivsa also wanted to cruise with me.
  16. Not sure how passengers paying $18 per day vs the normal lowest price of $42 per day will result in a banner year income wise for the bartenders. 18% gratuity for $18 per day is $3.24 per day vs the $7.56 per day in gratuity based on a $42 per day price. This would seem to indicate that every passenger that got the $18 price would need to tip an additional $4.32 per day over normal extra tips just to bring the gratuities in balance with normal prices. Seems to me the bartenders will be in for a banner year working more and earning less in tips. Of course these numbers all depends on how many people got the $18 deal.
