I totally get not being able to predict the weather, especially so far in advance ?. We decided to book it and take what Mother Nature throws at us. We both think Anthem will be a better fit for us and we found a great price though our TA.

Hello, I wanted to ask the more experienced cruisers if there are rougher waters typically during the month of April when sailing out of the NY area? We found a good deal and are contemplating changing our sailing out of Galveston on Liberty to NY on Anthem. My wife gets hit with motion sickness when the ship is rocking more than usual. So I was hoping for some ideas. The NY itinerary is down to the Bahamas and back. We sailed out of Orlando during April before with no issue. The travel from and to the NY area is what is making me hesitate. SO after that long winded explanation i welcome any contribution to help aid in the decision making process. Happy New Year!

I will be asking for some Indian curry on our sailings! All from what I have heard from @Matt is that RC does Indian curry very well.

All I have heard is that on the island is that you can eat and drink (with package) and enjoy till your heart is content without spending any extra money. Yes there are options to spend money on, but that is to be expected. It does not mean you have to spend the money. It is a choice.

You can see other sailings on the app and check the menus there. I have done it a few times while "stalking" sailings seeing what they are offering their passengers.

Great this is good info. I think the Embassy Suites was a hotel I remember being mentioned. I am going to do my homework and see what works for us. We stayed at a Holiday Inn when we sailed out of Miami and it was a good place for the night as well.

Good point, i am looking for a hotel close to the port. Will sleep 4 people myself, wife, daughter, and grandmother. I dont need a 5 start place, but I am comfortable paying a little more for a better hotel. I have tried the cheap route before and id rather spend the money than deal with a cheap place to stay.

Add Allure of the Seas Dec 12 2021 to our list. I booked it for Christmas, and crossed my fingers that my wife wasn't going to tell me to cancel it hahaha

That is insane! If that is for 1 person that is a ridiculous price, not a chance I would pay it.

We are cruising during Dec, might be why I am seeing a better price. I would not be able to justify $900 on our own. Splitting with another family makes it more manageable.

The prices have been fluctuating a lot lately. We have what we want sorted for our time there. The waterpark cabana still holding at $499 compared to $999 when they 1st came available to book. Being our 1st RC cruise and 1st time to Coco Cay we decided to pay the extra for the passes and a personal space for our family to hang out. Definitely not elite over here, just splurging a little on vacation.

The only price I have noticed is $99 even during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales.

I was in Cozumel once. I was not impressed by the intimidate shopping area. It seemed dirty to me. We had a lunch at Senor Frogs that was really good. I am not a fan of guacamole, find it off putting, but ate the fresh batch made by our table and thought it was tasty. Drinks were good as well. I cant say if pricing was worth it or not since my friend would not let me pay our portion of the meal. Which was very generous. After reading info on here and other media I am looking forward to going back and checking out a few of the resorts. I am sure after doing the proper research I will enjoy the port a lot more.

OK, was hoping there was something I was missing. Booked a sailing on the Allure out of Galveston for Dec '21. But, if an Indy sailing comes up might switch it over if I like the itinerary and pricing better.

Hello, I have been making a lot of mock bookings, looking at prices for the ships I would like to sail on. I was wondering if there was any news on the sailings for Indy past April of 2021? She is unavailable to book past that month. I haven not come across any info as to why that might be.

Ohhhh I thought all 7+ night Caribbean were already posted, this news makes me happy! We are booked on Liberty April '21 If Allure comes in I might have to look at making a switch.
