Hi, I’m turning the big 5-0 next year (??) and was thinking of a short cruise to celebrate/commiserate, one caught my eye. It’s a 7 night European city one on Allure of the Seas from Barcelona in June (Birthday been the 4th). I also know that Allure is due to be Amped in 2020. Does anyone know when the amp process will be completed and what will be changed? thanks martin

So do you drop of the family and luggage and then walk back?

Hi all We are on a package holiday in July, we have a week in Orlando doing those Park things and then a weeks cruise on Harmony. The package includes car hire which we have to drop of at the Alamo depot on Mullet road on the Port Canveral complex after driving down on cruise day from Orlando. We have the Key booked so are planning on getting to the terminal building early to take advantage of the Key. I know that Alamo do have a shuttle bus but also have heard it’s busy, doesn’t start till gone 11 and is a bit chaotic. What’s the best way to get to the cruise terminal from the car drop off, Uber? Walking? Something else? Thanks. Martin.

Not sure it would work. They state carry on bags only. Not sure if they would allow main bags. • Carry-on bag drop off and delivery to stateroom. Drop-off located in main theater onboard and available until 1:30pm. Up to 2 carry-on bags per guest.

I quite like the fact that we have a walk to the lifts, makes me feel less guilty for the food on board.?

I’ve just moved our room from deck 11 to 8606 on Harmony of the seas, apparently it has a slightly larger balcony as it’s at the beginning of the hump.

Funnily enough I was thinking the same last night. We are booked on Harmony on a mid ship ocean view balcony on deck 11 and was looking at deck 6/7 for the same reasons. Looking forward to peoples replies.

I’m my experience they don’t work well due to the metal in the walls, also I believe that they may now be disallowed unless you have a licence!??

Never had a suite, honest truth is can’t afford one. Good job well paid but got a teenage daughter. Nuff said!

We are supposedly going on Harmony in July. Can’t see how this will be finished by then, and even if the pier is finished and we are allowed off the ship, who wants a day on a building site? Maybe a day to savour the ship whilst most folks are off me thinks.

Similar question for any Brits who are on a Caribbean cruise, do you take your passports of ship with you? As we don’t have photo I.d. Do you use your driving licence if asked for id for times you don’t have your passport?
