  1. It looks like there isn't an option for the 125% cruise planner purchases this time around. I was really hopeful because the credit and an existing obc were going to cover the DBP for 3 adults on my Jan 2021 trip. Maybe that detail was just left out of what RC has posted so far, and it will be listed in the emails to passengers that haven't been sent out yet.
  2. I don't think a TA can take care of your optional Cruise Planner purchases.
  3. Did you use an OBC to pay for the drink package? If so, and if you lost the OBC when you repriced, you only have a certain amount of time to go into the cruise planner to pay the balance before the item is canceled.
  4. Here's the spread from the Suite Reception on Enchantment in February. I didn't get a picture of the passed drinks - we go through them too quickly! ?
  5. Mushroom soup from Chops as an appetizer. 3 course entrée consisting of the Chops filet and MDR duck a la orange and lamb shank. Chocolate bar (or 6) from Windjammer, ranger cookies, and the little bite size toffee tart things for dessert. Good thing we have pizza on the way...I'll just pretend it's Sorrento's.
  6. Looks like no cruises from SF for all of 2020 - I'm not sure where the Sunshine, Legend, and Radiance were supposed to be but they are cancelled into Oct and Nov. I didn't have high hopes for my Enchantment sailing at the end of next month, but I thought my Nov 1 back on Liberty would be safe...not so sure now.
  7. It will be interesting to see how the new start is handled since the expiration is fluid. 100 days is one of the options, but it can also end if the Secretary of Health and Human Services no longer declares a public health emergency or if the CDC Director rescinds or modifies the order. Do the cruise lines go ahead and cancel all cruises for 100 days? If the order is rescinded prior to the 100 days, how fast can they scramble to bring crew back and book those sailings? The order says crew cannot embark ships, so they it's not like they'll be ready day one. My $0.02 (and that's it's probably not worth that) is that once the order expires or is rescinded, they'll start to restaff and while doing so, they will try to fill the ships to the capacity allowed at that time. The first few sailings once they resume will most likely not be anywhere near full. Like I said, just my opinion/thoughts.
  8. Be sure to collect sufficient tax if sailing from Galveston. ?
  9. What do you call a sheep with a sword? A BAA-barian
  10. This blog is not run by Royal Caribbean. It's a fan run site.
  11. I was waiting for my Jan 2021 Cruise Planner options to open, and they finally have. I am seeing the same $72 for the Deluxe Bev. and $34 for the Refreshment pkg. The 3 device Surf and Stream is also $53.97 which is a huge jump up from what I paid for the same 3 device S&S just in February. Interestingly, if you add 25% to the normal-ish $58 DBP price, you get $72.50. Maybe this makes up for the 125% Cruise Planner deal on cancelled cruises? #RoyalMathWillGoOn
  12. What do you call a fish with two knees? A two-knee-fish!
  13. I wouldn't count on a Customer Service Rep knowing an accurate answer to this. Even if they were installed on every balcony door at some point, the one in your cabin may not be functional. Or it may have been removed by maintenance for some repair or may have broken off and never been replaced. We start having "the balcony talks" with both our kids a couple months before every sailing. In addition to my 8 yo son, my daughter is 11 and is Autistic with some impulse control issues so I understand your concern. We basically drill into them both over and over that they aren't allowed on the balcony alone, they can't climb up on a balcony railing, they can't pull a chair up next to the balcony railing to get a better look over the edge, no sitting on a railing, etc. until we can literally hear their eye rolls and can can sense them think "not this speech again". Then we make them repeat it back to us a few hundred times.
  14. What do you call a pig that does karate? A pork chop!
  15. Why are skeletons afraid of dogs? Because they eat bones!
  16. Twist handle and pull open. It was heavy, but my 8 year son was able to open it in February.
  17. DH just said he's going to start brewing again. Beer for everyone! Well in about 6 weeks. ?
  18. I'm jealous of some of your stashes...we can't seem to keep more than 1 bottle in our wine table and our racks never got put up.
  19. Yes! I may have teared up a little looking at @JLMoran's Chef's Table photos. We have it booked for May 25...I don't think it is going to happen though. ?
  20. Liberty now has a couple cases too. ? https://www.galvnews.com/news/free/article_86f5f92d-7792-5520-b8f7-3e1b9742bb19.html
  21. That's really interesting. We're supposed to sail 5/25 and have purchased the DBP and Chef's table. I wonder if they will carry this new policy forward if there is yet another round of cancellations?
  22. Grand 2 BR on Liberty last Sept. was a thin, firm mattress. Grand 2 BR on Enchantment 2 months ago was an amazing cloud on which I could rest my head every night. ?
  23. My husband did this for awhile. I was so much happier when he started brewing in the garage!
  24. We don't have a statewide shelter in place, but Dallas county issued one that goes into effect tonight at midnight. Cities around Dallas have been following their lead, and the mayor of our town, which is in the county just north of Dallas, has said he is making an announcement in the morning regarding a shelter order. I think more rural cities and counties will trickle into the same situation as the virus continues to spread, and at this point April 11 isn't likely. I've pretty much given up hope for my May 25th sailing... I'm feel like I'm playing a game of chicken with Royal to see who will cancel first.
