For anyone wondering, this is the same thing as Bonine - sounds like it works very well for many people (and is the ONLY thing that keeps my dog from puking all over the car when we travel).

Ok. If you say I HAVE to take him on more cruises, I will. Seems to be the only sure cure. ?

You are a man who loves his job, and very lucky at that. I'd stay as far away from my profession on vacation as possible. Some of my co-workers (not many, but a few), seek out vacations where they can visit other sites of the same profession. I think they are bat-sh** crazy, but to each their own.

Damn me and my love for Sun Country airlines - I'm missing out on Luggage Valet.

I curse everywhere, even the Caribbean. But in public I try to do it under my breath ?

I don't know. I checked for my Alaska cruise out of Seattle. I guess I thought it was only for the return trip.

It's difficult enough for him since he usually doesn't get up until 3pm (we both work overnights), so getting up in the morning on vacation is a real chore to begin with. Adding drugs into it...well, you can only imagine.

Luggage valet is also available in Seattle (unfortunately not for my airline).

Yeah, I'll be stealing the dogs' Bonine and bringing that instead. He still wants the Relief Band, though.

Room Upgrade May 4 - Anthem (Bermuda)
SpeedNoodles replied to TVS's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Keep in mind that just because you receive the email it doesn't mean there's even a room available, no matter what you bid. So that alone is a reason to not get your hopes up. At this point all of the suites are sold out on your sailing, so someone would have to cancel in the first place.- 4 replies

We're getting one of those Relief Band 2.0 for my husband (not Sea Bands). I've read good things about them, so we're hoping it works. Dramamine works for him, but he sleeps the whole damn day away when he takes them, and that's just a waste of cruise money.

Carry On For Wine and 6 Packs
SpeedNoodles replied to stevendom57's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Well, I'm clearly going to need one of these. -
Yeah, it's fine if you never need them. It's when you need them and you don't have them with you that's the problem. Can you fly out of Bermuda the Bahamas if there's a problem with just the birth certificate and a marriage license? Chances are you won't ever have to do this, true. It's a gamble, imo. But every person has their own level of comfort.

Personally I'd save myself the hassle of having to bring all of the documentation and just get a passport.

I was going to forgo the cocktail dress thing for Ovation, but the hubby said he WANTED to dress up on formal night (which will require him to buy new clothes). Now I have to buy shoes. Dangit.

The Key might just be sold out for your sailing. I checked my cruise planner today, because of the 30% sale, and found that the excursion that I'd booked for June had gone down $18 per person, so I was able to cancel and rebook it. I was sort of terrified that I'd cancel it and find that it would sell out in the 2 minutes it took me to rebook it, but all went well.

Yep, small carry on with wheels (that I purchased solely for this purpose, lol)
