Not for us. I also requested a table by the window for our MTD reservations through an email to the concierge, also mentioned my daughter’s birthday on night one in CK. Nope, nada, no desired table & not even a candle in a cupcake for my daughter. Issue with our prepaid Izumi reservation was “I emailed the hotel manager and I don’t know what he’ll do. (we were already on board). Well how do I know what the outcome will be? I don’t know - I emailed the hotel manager” it was our first cruise with a concierge. I was not impressed.

You don’t need WiFi access to access the RC app. You can make reservations, check activities, book shows without internet connection. You will NOT be able to call/text.

Just remember to put all phone in airplane mode!! Then turn WiFi on. You should also enable WiFi calling on all phones prior to the cruise.

Perhaps but several of your issues were something you could have known in advance so it wasn’t a surprise. RC has charged for room service except for suites, since before I started cruising 20 years ago. Did you try to make MTD reservations prior to boarding? You can do so and then adjust as needed on board. Gives you more options. You are right, you had your experience and I had mine. I think yours could have been better.

Yeah, it’s a hot button topic for me. I just cannot understand how you book something without ANY research at all. Maybe I am anal but jeez louise spend a minute understanding what you’ve booked!

I was on Harmony in March and had NONE of those issues. Because I did a little research in the past, I know room service costs $7.95 for anything beyond the continental breakfast. In fact it’s WRITTEN ON THE MENU!! The cost of drinks is discussed to death. If you don’t want to pay individually BUY A PACKAGE. MTD dining allows you to make reservations in advance. DO SO! And I slept like a baby on a very comfortable mattress.

Red Sox fan here and I’m not sure those games in September are gonna mean much. Not saying they WON’T just saying. And the rivalry is not what it was 10-15 years ago.

It was to be my brother’s first ever cruise on a lift & shift to Harmony. He & my nephew were flying out of providence Rhode Island. My family out of Hartford CT. We got out. They did not. Tried Boston, Hartford finally got a late flight out of Manchester NH. Drove couple hours there & it got canceled too. Absolutely nothing else for 2 days.

Was that March flight the weekend of March 12-13? That was when my brother couldn’t get to the port! Wish his/my TA had been that helpful. She said she couldn’t help with flights .

After my brother’s issue with a weather related flight cancellation (trip ins gave him 90% back in FCC), I booked 2 days before for our next cruise. Day before didn’t help him. Early afternoon flight so we can get testing done in the morning.

We took our 2 adult offspring on our last cruise so I got a really nice picture of the 4 of us. Well except for me. I look like crap in pictures.

Hubby: black pants long sleeve button down shirt & tie, no jacket. Me: nice dress (not a cocktail dress) & heels. For our upcoming 8 day ABC, I think we’re going to skip formal night entirely. Neither of us care to dress up. Won’t do the picture unless it includes extended family which this cruise won’t. More suitcase room without the dress up stuff especially the shoes!

Cruise control transportation does a private shuttle as well as the shared.

Not our experience. The reserved one that we were in moved very quickly once the dining room opened. In the other line, people were being checked in but not seated. My guess (as we went right in) was they were being held back until the reservations were seated.
