Dear Memebag, I’m sorry really I mean no disrespect to you or what I’m sure is your amazing coffee. For me coffee is a quick, efficient method of caffeine loading. I load the pot, push the start button and voila! Hot liquid caffeine. My clearly pedestrian taste buds have rarely found a coffee so undrinkable (except for that burned Starbucks stuff) that a little extra cream or a lot of extra Baileys won’t help.

On the other hand here. Having the DBP makes me order drinks I don’t actually want. I just don’t drink enough over the whole cruise to break even. It used to be a no brainer but last cruise, 5 drinks every day was too much for me. I know, lightweight! With it I drank too much, without it I won’t have as many as I might like. I don’t drink specialty coffees or smoothies & the ships water tastes fine to me so no help there. Thankfully will be Diamond after this next cruise.

I think a sold out UDP would be much more likely than a sold out DBP. There are only so many specialty reservations to go around but the booze??

Tried the meatballs at Mini Bites. IMHO one of the nastiest things I’ve ever put in my mouth, couldn’t spit it out fast enough. Never went back. Maybe other stuff is better

They will probably have a table set up on the Promenade during boarding or stop by any bar with your sea pass card.

We are forgoing the drink package. Just don’t drink enough over the whole cruise to make it worth it anymore. I will bring a couple of bottles of wine for dinner & then maybe 2 drinks a day. Anything with rum & fruit juice will do!

I was firmly in the lower price off site camp until we used the terminal parking in March. Beyond convenient! More than well worth the extra $45. On the highway ten minutes after we disembarked. It would have been 5 but we let a large family with small children take the elevator before us.

What PP said, WJ will have a bar set up and there will certainly be a bar steps from Sorrentos. Unless you want a sugar free strawberry caffeine free Mr Pibbs, you can get soda from any bar.
